I think Oral-B is already on series 9 of their io series, and honestly I'm not sure if you need anything past series 2 or 3. This series 2 has basically everything you need out of an electric toothbrush - it has the 2 minute timer, pressure sensor, and brush modes. It even comes with a carrying case! However, this only comes with 1 brush head and doesn't have all the fancy bells and whistles the other series have (like brush head replacement indicators, and all that other nonsense). It's also slightly noisier than the other series, but it's not noticeable. But if you just need a dependable, brand-name toothbrush at a good price, it's hard to go wrong with a series 2. ... show more

I've always trusted this brand and once again they don't disappoint. I've had other brand name electric toothbrushes as well as Oral B and prefer the trademark rotate brush. This is a great upgrade from my previous toothbrush.
