So many colors!
I love this pack of tinsel, it is so fun and has so many colors! We used it for the Fourth of July and other events, trips, and holidays this year. You get a thousand strands of every color so the tinsel will last longer than the amount of clips it comes with. You could always tie it into your hair also, but I prefer the clips for easy in and easy out so I’ll be purchasing more clips when we run out. My daughter and niece absolutely love it!

Has everything you need
I will say, this was my first time using tinsel and there was a bit of a learning curve. I had to refer to youtube videos because this comes with zero instructions. There are two tools that it comes with and 2 colors of silcone beads to use. There are also clips to help you do the tinsel yourself. I used this on my daughter so I cant speak to how easy or hard it would be to apply on your self. The silicon beads are not small, which could be a benefit or a negative based on what your needs are. The beads dont match hair color well and are easily seen in thin hair, but with them being bigger you can string multiple pieces of tinself through the bead and still have plenty of space for hair. The loop tool was good. I did not use the other tools that came with it. The tinsel is also nice and long and would be good for long hair. As far as removal, I used pliers to remove the bead which was very easy. If youre looking for a kit that comes with a ton of tinsel, I recommend this product. Disclaimer- Vine items are not "free"- I pay 30% of the products value. My reviews are unbiased and honest.

A fun hair tinsel kit
16 Colors Hair Tinsel Kit with Tools Review This kit allows you to have some fun and add a little or a lot of sparkle to your hair. This kit includes everything (except your hair) you need. Included are two different ways to add tinsel to your hair-the regular or at least the first style I came across where you use the included tools to add one or more strands tied to strands of your hair and a newer (to me) clip system. With the clips you can tie as many strands of tinsel as desired onto the clip. You can have clip in tinsel extensions. That makes it so easy to have tinsel in your hair for something special and you can remove and reuse the clip at other times. To me this is the perfect system. The colors are so bright and shiny and you have pastels through bright colors. A fun kit.

Review for a different item (not a hair extension)
When I received this item it was certainly not marketed as a hair extension, so I am not sure why the seller has changed the item, but likely it is to get a higher rating for the hair extensions. Anyway, these streamer fibers work great for fishing lures, and that is exactly why I selected them. They are made out of a synthetic plastic that has a little stretch to them, think like tinsel from a christmas tree. They seem durable enough to last for a few aggressive fish when added as a teaser. It came with all the good fishing colors and they work for my applications.... now would they work as a hair extension...no clue

Not what is shown, no instructions
This page used to be for a kit to make colorful tinsel hairs clips, but now it's changed to long, black hair extensions, so it's not accurate at all. Regarding the colorful tinsel clips, the kit was difficult to know how to use as it didn't come with instructions, so we had to look up what to do and use some intuition. Not the fun craft that I was hoping to do with my daughter.

Fun to use
Super fun to add a strand or two (or even a whole pile) to your hair. The set comes with everything you need, except for pliers to pinch the bead. Colors are pretty and glittery.

Could use some directions!
It seems to be a great set based on the variety of colors. They all look like they would catch the light when in your hair. Some of them are more solid, looking colors, where the green would be great for St. Patrick’s Day, and the pink shades would be cute on Valentine’s Day. Some are iridescent, while others look more glittery. There were two tools included, one which looks like a topsy-tail, and the other looks like a small (crochet) hook. Then there seems to be two different shades of brown fasteners, and four mini hair clips. The problem is there were no directions included, so I think it is up to the buyer to search out videos to see how to attach the fairy strands in one’s hair.
