For the past five years, I’ve been using a Quip electric toothbrush and was pretty devoted to it, but this Oral-B 7500 blows the Quip out of the water. I was honestly shocked at how much better the Oral-B cleans my teeth. I guess not all electric toothbrushes are created equal, lol. You really do need to download the Oral-B app to get the most out of this toothbrush. The app is excellent and lets you change a ton of settings on the brush. It also tracks your history, brush head replacement, flossing, mouthwash use, and more. Pros: - Cleans MUCH better than the Quip (and no AA batteries to throw out). - Love the two-minute timer. You can use the app to subdivide the timer into 4 or 6 sections (30 seconds each or 20 seconds each, respectively). I like 6 because it makes brushing go by faster and helps me focus. - Love the size of the brush heads (more nimble & better reach than Quip), the pressure sensor light (genius), and the variety of brushing modes. - Comes with a travel case and storage tray for extra brush heads. Cons: - Arrived scratched on the front. This could have easily been prevented with a plastic sleeve, which, incredibly, Oral-B put over the travel case but not over the actual brush handle. 🙄 - Loud motor, especially compared to the near-silent Quip. Can’t listen to podcasts while brushing my teeth anymore. But that’s okay, I guess, because I use the Oral-B app while brushing now. - Takes a long time to charge (10 hours). - Instruction manual doesn’t explain the different brushing modes. You have to download the app to see the icon key. --- The Quip was super gentle, so the Oral-B seemed a little aggro at first. Right now, I am only using the “sensitive” mode (feather icon) while I am getting used to it. You can disable any of the individual brushing modes using the app so that it only cycles through the ones you want to use, and you can reorder them so that the brush automatically starts on your preferred mode. I only have sensitive and tongue-cleaning enabled at the moment, and I can switch between them by pressing the down arrow on the brush handle. Overall this is a fantastic toothbrush, and despite the minor downsides, I am thrilled with it and feel it is MUCH more effective than the Quip. Glad I bought it.

Purchased this to replace a water pick model that they stopped making. I loved the Waterpick I had for several years. Was disappointed to see they had discontinued it when the rechargeable batteries gave out. But after purchasing this one I am very satisfied with it. It cleans your teeth very well. I enjoy the high setting. And the pause every thirty seconds works out well. The red light when you push to hard I could live without. And I haven’t done the blue tooth thing either. Don’t really think that I need to use my phone to brush my teeth. But aside from that i really do enjoy using this tooth brush it works great and cleans your teeth very well.

I started looking into an electric toothbrush because of arthritis and tiredness in my right hand and elbow. I was going to go with a basic sonicare but read a lot of reviews which lead me to Oral B and this particular model. I have sensitive teeth and have no issues with pain or discomfort from brushing. The timer on the brush helps me focus on each part of my mouth equally and I don’t miss a single section. I look forward to brushing my teeth now -several times a day! I wonder if it’s possible to brush your teeth too much!

I have never been more excited to clean my teeth until I began using this electric toothbrush. Given I’ve only had one kind of electric toothbrush… I can feel all the years of grime, gunk, and plaque being obliterated by the sheer power of this toothbrush. My teeth are brighter than ever, the mild plaque that builds up around the border of the where the gum-line and teeth are gone. Now for the secret… actually brush your teeth at least twice a day!!!! Morning and before bed. Don’t eat anything after you brush. The sugars will eat away at your enamel.
