This is the second e-bike I have purchased from Amazon. Due to a complete hip replacement, the first bike was difficult to straddle. Because of the low crossbar on Oramio e-bike, I have no issue mounting it. This bike is also very easy to maneuver, with quick electric pick-up when needed. The padded seat is very comfortable while the built-in back rack is sturdy and adds to the overall style of the bike. The price and shipping cost were very reasonable. I purchased this e bike for trucking around my kid. I bought it on sale for $499. For the price point you get a pretty decent starter e-bike. Pros: Solid frame, not the prettiest welds but regardless it feels like it will hold up for years to come. The rack system, while bulky, is definitely sturdy and nice. Nice system to run cables through the frame. Fairly easy to work on if you have some experience. I like the ability to just throttle out when you don’t feel like pedaling. Went together in just a couple of hours out of the box. Has enough battery for a 10 mile throttled out ride with a a load of around 220lbs with some charge leftover. Comfy seat and step thru design that my wife enjoys. The cons: While it went together quickly out of the box it did need some adjustments to the wheel and brakes. I did have to true both the front and back wheels. Spoke tension on some of them were laughable, probably a QC issue. I wish there was a higher amp hour option for the battery. The handlebar is definitely too narrow, I swapped it out with a spare pretty easily though. The mechanical disc brakes do not have a ton of stopping power. I actually swapped those out with a pair of hydraulic zoom 4 pistons because they were so underpowered. I’m 5’8 and someone taller might be a little uncomfortable on it. I wish the seat had a quick release adjuster instead of needing an Allen wrench to losses and tighten it. Might swap the collar out eventually. Pedal assist is a little jerky, kind of to be expected with a cadence sensor though. But you get what you pay for. The three level pedal assist is kinda weird, I wish there were more levels too it. Low doesn’t do too much. Medium isn’t to far off from low and with the high setting you might as well be throttling it the entire time. Overall, with the modifications to the handlebars and brakes I’m pretty happy with it. ... show more

This bike was the first of two I ordered. Bike was well packaged and protected for shipment. Bike looks great, rides great and feels very sturdy. Power and throttle are good. I have a few complaints about this model but nothing I wasn't able to remedy myself, other then the kickstand. The kickstand is a little too long which makes the bike stand a little too upright when using the kickstand. A little shorter kickstand would allow the bike to lean a little more. Another one is the handlebars are just too narrow, I feel they should be a little wider, or your hands should be angled outwards more instead of almost straight back at you while holding the bar. It would be nice to have more info available on the control panel, such as a speedometer and trip meter. I installed a bicycle computer myself to have all these capabilities and more. The battery rattled and made noises when riding, and I could not not lock the battery on the bike without jiggling it around, the locking pin on the battery would not go through the bracket. I adjusted the height of the bracket the battery slides onto, and also added a few washers behind it so it would take up the gap between it and the battery. That stopped the battery from rattling and making noise, and the height adjustment on the battery bracket allows the lock to work perfectly every time now. The seat is nice and cushy. I'm glad this bike has a 1/2 grip twist throttle on the right hand side, easier to adapt to if you've ever ridden motorcycles. It just seems that how it should be. Pedal assist works good, level 1 is about 8 MPH, level 2 is about 11 MPH, but level 3 is too fast to keep up pedaling. I've gotten many compliments that it's a nice looking bike when I go out riding.
