Honestly i don’t know how well it burns yet ot how well the aroma oil fumes through. I sill speak on how easy it wss to melt and took crayon peels coloring real well. 2lbs wax gets you maybe 4-5 SM candles.

This wax makes beautiful soy candles. I have made them in teacups and other containers I have around the house. Great white color and enough to make several candles with the wicks. Easy to refill old candle containers. Good qquality and not a smoky burn. Fantastic for crafting.

I bought this as an introduction to candle making. The wax is excellent and easy to work with. The wicks are a little flimsy and take a little learning before mastering how to place them in hot wax, but after a few rounds it gets easy (hint: wait for the wax to solidify a little). The metal base on the wicks is top notch and very user friendly. The metal tool things for holding the wicks are useless, you'd be better off using a fork arched on the stove edge. ... show more

I've been making candles for years, always using wax left over from used candles. The results were a hodge podge of colors and scents, not very attractive or pleasing. Using clean, unscented, creamy white soy wax is such a joy to use. I don't care for chemical scents so often used in candle making these days. I add a few drops of essential oils to my soy wax. The result is a lightly scented, smoke less, long lasting candle. The wax comes as 1/2" to 1" unscented flakes which are easy to use, quick to melt. I was thrilled with the wick holders that came in this kit. Makes for getting a straight wick so much easier. The prewaxed wicks are a nice convenience as well. Loved this wax as a begginer!!! For my first try at making candles it came out great! It melted easy, poured and dried great. Held my colors and gave a good scent throw. You HAVE to read how to make candles. The temperature you add fragrance, pour and how fast you stir effect your overall result. I ONLY problem I had was the wicks but I think I just need bigger sizes, I had some tunneling issues. This gave a reccomended pour temp of around 130 i believe. But I poured at around 160 ( because I didn't know each wax had a different pour temp, RESEARCH!) But I didn't have any issues. Will definitely buy again and reccomend for newbies to this candle thing. ... show more
