Description

Disney’s villainous Ursula takes on a dramatic new appearance with the Disney Villain Ursula Box Set from Citizen, complete with a daring watch and a special collectible pin. The black IP stainless steel case and faceted bezel add dimension to the exterior, with the watch's monochromatic dark hue channeling the sea witch's taste for malice. On the black dial with date, the timepiece uses tear-shaped crystal settings at 3, 9, and 12 to mark the hours atop a rich black backdrop, while the 6 o’clock marker features a conch shell that has tiny crystal “sound bubbles” floating upwards out of it. At the center of the dial, a dark gray illustration of Ursula’s silhouette rests with two royal purple hands ticking above. Sustainably powered by any light with Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology. The inscription on the case back reads, “You got it sweetcakes. No more talking, singing, zip.”

This is a very nice, very classic looking Citizen watch. I do find it a bit pricey, but it is on par with retail for this item at its current sale price and it didn't seem fair to give less stars based on my opinion of overall value, especially with the Disney name branded to it. I'm personally a fan of automatic watches, but Citizen has perfected the eco drive and there's no exception when it comes to this Disney Ursula eco drive watch. The quality of this watch is top notch and it is one hundred percent authentic and can be verified through Citizen's website. The fit and finish is a flat black that has a beautiful sheen to it and won't be found on budget watches, you'd really have to see as the pictures only do minor justice. The same goes for the Ursula broach, which uses that matte black as well as gloss black and purple. Everything contrasts well with each other and the crystal accents in both give them just the right pop. Everything is machined to strict tolerance and attention to detail can be seen throughout. Naturally, with the eco drive technology you can be sure that year after year this piece will hold time as well as others that cost much more. When testing accuracy I began by running the stopwatch on my phone for a simple sixty seconds run and the watch was exact. Next, I started the stopwatch as soon as the watch flipped to 8pm and checked it the next morning and when 5am rolled around, I watched as the second hand flipped the moment the stopwatch did. Accuracy within milliseconds. The band really fits the overall design and I don't think this peice could be any nicer for it's theme. Overall, if you're a fan of quality watches and the little mermaid this might be perfect for your collection. And although I think this is more something for an evening out, it is a nice size and would be okay for an everyday wear. From a collectors standpoint, keep it boxed. ... show more

This is a beautiful Citizen watch. The matte finish just makes the small accents pop. It has crystals at the 12, 3 and 9 hours and at the 6 it has a conch with other crystals that go up in the middle of the watch. In the back of the watch there is the image of Ursula, and the purple hands just tie the theme together. The watch is not large, so it looks nice in a smaller wrist, and it is the perfect length. It all comes in a beautiful package with a pin that is just as gorgeous as the watch itself. The watch is water resistant, up to 30 meters according to the description. This would be a great gift for an Ursula or Disney fan. It is a bit pricey at over $400 but Citizen watches usually last for a very long time. ... show more

This is an incrediby nice watch that functions with the Citizens ecodrive. As a watch it's worth every penny but if you are a Disney fan, especially The little mermaid, then this is a dream watch. It comes with a beautiful pin as well. You get the class and quality of Citizen and the collectibility of a Disney watch. I'll be interested to see what this watch is worth, as long as I keep it nice, on the collectors market in 10 or 20 years. ... show more

This watch is absolutely stunning. The detail is amazing. I got it for myself, but my daughter has certainly tried to snatch it. It would make a wonderful gift for a Little Mermaid fan.
