Strong clove oil. Used it to along with patchouli oil and lotion to make a mosquito repellent. It's quite effective. A few drops goes a long way.

I bought this clove oil because I use clove oil for my face when I break out, also for my teeth when I brush them and finally for deodorant. This particular oil has a nice “real” scent, it doesn’t smell like chemicals but it has the real scent of cloves. It is however not very potent. It seems to have a carrier oil added to it because it is very mild. I can use it on my face without any burning like other clove oils I’ve used. I will probably not use it for my teeth because I don’t know what else has been added to this clove oil. Also, I needed to take out the “stopper” ( not sure what to call it) because it’s very hard to get the oil out of the bottle. ... show more

DID YOU KNOW you can have a really bad toothache and put 2-3 drops of this oil on a Q-Tip and put it on top of that tooth and around the gums around it - and you will have instant pain relieve in less than one minutes - - HOW DID I LIVE 75 years without KNOWING this ? I had a wisdom tooth that needed to come out - but I was having some pretty rough problems with an inflammation in my muscles and joints of the arms and shoulders - (Frontier Coop Organic Turmeric Root POWDER - here on amazon is the miracle there and I'll write a review for it too) I write stories on my personal fb page - just humorous - inspirational - etc - - and wrote about all my problems that had seemed to come on at once and mentioned my wisdom tooth - - A friend posted and told me a little of this on the tooth with a Q-Tip and pain gone in less than a minute - I went right to amazon - bought this - it was here in 2 days and I put it on - - PAIN WAS TOTALLY GONE in less than 1 minute - - I couldn't believe it so I WROTE about it and many bought it - - lol My readers are all having the same miraculous luck with this Clove Oil that "I" did - - - VERY inexpensive and SO magical - - at least for many I know who have used it recently - Now that wisdom tooth still needs to come out - but after using this Clove Oil it hasn't even bothered me any more - - - so I'll wait till I have to - to get it out - - - This stuff WORKS and works FAST ... show more

I was so excited to make some homeade toothpaste. I read reviews saying people used this for teeth pain - but when you open the booklet that comes with the product it says keep away from mouth? On the back of the bottle it says "if using for mouthwash, dilute and do not swallow. " so... can I use it in my toothpaste or not!? Lol confusing verbage. ... show more

I had heard this oil is best to dab on your toothache. The taste is terrible, but it works great! All natural and no harmful. You can also use on skin with a carrier oil.
