  • Great Projector for Just about any use
The resolution is limited to 1080, however, it is very bright and works great for daytime use. I ordered these for meetings in a gym and a very large foyer in our building. The only "issue" i encountered is the rear feet are not adjustable. Besides that, I had a fantastic experience and they worked as expected for me with great picture quality. ... show more

  • Very Crisp image
This is better than most of our other projects with regards to clear picture.

  • Not a laser projector but works great for a lamp
I bought this originally thinking it was a laser projector due to some of the photos showing a laser projector. This was misleading but in the details, it did say a lamp. It is bright. Nice picture. Works like all Optoma projectors, very well. I still returned it for a laser one since the price was only 100 bucks more. If I didn't really want to try the laser one, I would have kept this one and been happy. They need to take off the photos showing it as a laser projector though. ... show more

  • SENT A USED PROJECTOR!
Works ok, but such a pain to send back since I spent 1200 to install the darn thing! But the projector was clearly repackaged, even the box had a place where the old amazon sticker went and the projector looked a bit dirty and smudged. Sound isn't working on this but it's the second one I got and the first just stopped working after one use. It costs so much to paor with a crestron system so not sure but I may have to return it again sooooo irritating ... show more

  • Horrible Projector, Save Your Money
The sound doesn’t work. We purchased an additional wireless Bluetooth speaker to rectify the issue but it’s not the same. When investing in a projector you shouldn’t need to purchase a separate speaker (unless forementioned). This is our third Optoma and the new model is awful. The picture is sharper… if you don’t mind missing the audio, the this is the piece of junk for you!… Bot to mention, Amazon customer service is appalling these days. I was placed on hold for over an hour while waiting for a manager. I was told to wait would be 10 to 15 minutes…. I’m still waiting!! Try another brand! The quality of the materials used is visibly less than previous models. ... show more

  • Dead Pixels and Bad DMD Chip. Just out of Warranty. No support from Optoma!!!
So, just barely out of the 1-year warranty and my projector seems to have developed chickenpox. Seriously. Now 10 dead pixels are scattered about the screen. So furious. I paid $3,000 for this projector and it only has a 1 year warranty? Optoma support tells me I have to pay to ship it to them, then pay an evaluation fee and then pay $500 for a redesigned DMD chip to fix the problem. They know the DMD chip is defective and they had a new one produced, but the folks that paid good money up front are now screwed. Seriously, folks, this is what you get with Optoma Support. Basically nothing. They know this is a defective part in this unit and they should be willing to replace it at no charge regardless if the warranty is out or now. It's not like this unit failed from abuse or long hours. Just a crappy product backed by an even crappier company. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. This was the 5th projector I have owned and Optoma has lost a lifelong customer here. ... show more
