The Vanilla Ice Cream flavor is absolutely delicious (if you like sweets, of course). I mix with 2% milk in a blender bottle and it’s always the perfect consistency and never clumpy. I’m trying to lose weight, so this is perfect from a nutrition standpoint as well—24g protein, 1g sugar, 120 calories, and 1 carb. I'm new to using protein powders with my workouts so bear with me here when I write me review. The package contains about 10 servings and weighs a little over half a pound. The container reminds me of those small glass Folders coffee containers you see at the store except this is made out of plastic. The instructions are pretty straight forward stating to use roughly 1 scoop of powder with each glass of milk, water, or other beverages. I tried this with milk and water and I have to admit, I prefer the milk option. When I mixed this with milk it reminded me of a delicious snack! When I tried this with water it was a little bitter and the flavor seemed a little muted. It wasn't horrible with the water, but I wouldn't drink this that way again preferably. Some people may prefer mixing with water to save calories vs using the milk though. I'm not sure what they mean by using this with other beverages so I didn't try any others. I found the flavor to be a little addicting and I can see some people using this as a snack vs a workout drink. The calories in this fairly low at about 120 per serving according to the package which is nice if you're on a diet or counting calories. The only reason I'm eating this 4 stars vs 5 is because while the instructions say how to mix this and make a drink, they don't say how often you're supposed to make a drink or when you might want to or might not want to use their product. Am I supposed to use this before a workout? After? Does that even matter? I had to do my own research and look up when most people drink these kinds of workout drinks or else I wouldn't have known. Apparently you can gain a significant amount of weight if you misuse these kinds of products or drink them to excess. It would have been nice if that was mentioned on the label. Overall I'd say that the taste is great and I'd buy another one.

I got the vanilla flavor and it tastes good enough. Very sweet without too many carbs. The stuff tends to clump up and I've tried a multitude of different ways to smooth it out- the best way I've found so far is to put just enough water in the bottom of a cup with the powder to turn it into a slurry, then add more water. Only 10 servings per container, so not as much as I'd hope for for this price. Also, when you still have most of the container left, it's really hard to get the spoon back in and seal it up. You kind of have to bury it. Not a big deal but something to note. Been doing these shakes at lunch after my workout in place of meals and I'm sufficiently full until dinner. Not bad at all.

I wanted to try this brand for a long time. I usually have a shake in the morning as a breakfast replacement (if I'm in a hurry), or right after a hard workout at the gym. I like to think I have a high metabolism going to the gym 3 days a week and doing regular marathon training (although I'm currently in the off season). I don't really taste the "cinnamon roll" while drinking this shake, but it does have a cinnamon taste that isn't bad. I blend this with 6-8oz of 1% fat milk, 4-5 ice cubes, and a scoop of the protein and it comes out smooth. I usually drink isolate, but for regular whey, this is good. I'm inclined to try this brand's other flavors to see if I find a new favorite. I think this size jar (10 servings) is a great way to taste it and see if it works for you. I would say its good enough to recommend to others to try.

This is way sweeter than I expected, but in a good way - just not something I want as a full shake every day. I started mixing half a scoop into cottage cheese and now it’s my go-to high-protein dessert. Tastes like cheating. Mixes easily, no weird texture, and the smaller tub is nice if you just want to try a flavor without committing. Still has the full 24g of protein per scoop if you do use it straight. Solid stuff, just know it leans sweet.

I ordered Optimum Nutrition gold standard 100% whey protein powder in the vanilla ice cream flavor and it is really tasty. If you mix it with milk it kind of tastes like melted vanilla ice cream...YUM. You could also mix it with water or unsweetened almond milk etc if you are watching calories. There are 10 servings in this 10.9 ounce container. Each serving has 24 grams of whey protein, 120 calories and 4 grams of carbs. It mixes really well. I usually just use a whisk to mix it. There is a serving scoop included so no guessing if you are getting the right amount. I find that this protein powder is a very good value. I have bought pre-made protein shakes in the past and the cost is so high. These are easy to mix up, taste better and have healthier ingredients than the pre-made kind. I'll never buy those again. I recommend this protein powder highly. It is high quality from a well respected brand and tastes so good!
