This was the first set that I purchased to begin self-dermaplaning at home. As a beginner, it is sharp so I have nicked myself several times by going a little too fast and not being too cautious around corners or my nose or mouth. I have since became an intermediate dermaplaner. Once I ran out of these blades, I opted for cheaper brands to cut cost since I use them once a week to twice a month depending on my need. I noticed that the cheaper brand blades leave my skin really dry afterwards whereas these Hydro Silk ones did not. I still have a bunch of the cheap ones left, but I cannot deal with the facial dryness so I’m coming back to this. Must have for at-home facial dermaplaning!

I just use this product for the first time. I had never dermaplaned my face before, but found this extremely easy to use. I managed to avoid any cuts, but I did use this with a facial oil. I did see results with the product. I saw hair and skin on the razor after I used it, but I am not sure how sharp the actual blade was. I will continue to use the product and see what kind of results I get. Overall, it was a nice product for my first time trying to shave my face! I was certainly a bit nervous.

I wanted to start dermaplaning but didn't want to spend a lot of money. These razors are sharp (so be careful) but if you use a standard shaving cream, it will glide over your face nicely. The curve allows you to get under your chin, around your nose, and chin bones without nicks. Be aware that your face products might be more tingly bc you've removed the hair and surface dead skin- but this means that your products are better absorbed by your skin.

I use these on my eyebrow hairs that grow where they aren’t supposed to. I have to do it more often than plucking but it is was easier and less painful! I always do it right after a shower and clean my blade after (hand sanitizer and a cloth) so I’ll get many uses out of each one. YouTube horror stories made me scared to try these but don’t listen to them, this product is great just make sure your skin is clean!

I’ve never used a dermablade or dermaplaned? before but this is super neat. I like how easy it is to use and see the difference immediately but I sliced myself, like little paper cuts, so washing and moisturizing is a little sting-y for now but that’s on me. Just need to be slower next time. I’d recommend to responsible folks.

I didn't at all experience the sensitivity/rash problems that other reviews have mentioned, but I am calling these razors a complete dud for thick or dark hairs. There's no simpler way to say it - without tearing my skin apart, I couldn't get anything shorter than dots of stubble, which is even more obvious on my face than the former hairs themselves. It was instantly back to tweezing for me, though I tried quite a few times. That said, for lighter-colored hair that actually classified as "fuzz" - probably for which the product is actually intended - I would see no issue using these. My recommendations are not to be overzealous and do this all over in a tired craze at 2am... Take it slow, try a little bit, gently, in front of a good mirror. Give it at least a few minutes to show any irritation so you can correct your pressure and angle. And keep in mind that people around you notice 1/10th (at best) of what you see on yourself... So don't get too crazy.
