Product works and does what I needed. Sometimes we just don't know for sure if a supplement is working but in this case it was a necessary amino acid I was lacking. This item has many functions and one especially important was to help mitochondria produce energy in your cells. I take a med that depletes L Carnitine causing problems in my legs and overall health. After using this for about 4 days I began to see improvement. I do a lot of medical research in many areas for personal studies so Taking specific supplements is based on research facts and my needs. There are many good products you can take that will improve your immune function for example and Amazon has them. would like to add that a few months have gone by and I began walking more, a few blocks twice a week to get to work. I have been using Nutricost Acetyl L-Carnitine for a couple years and will no go without. I like how the service size of this product is 1 capsule and the bottle lasts a long time. However, I recently switched to this brand's powder acetyl l-carnitine and prefer that much more.
