    • A sturdy budget bench that works great
So far, I really like this workout bench. Let's start with assembly...it came with real instructions, with clear diagrams that were actually correct. Assembly was pretty easy, and it comes with all the tools needed. in use, it's plenty stable, even when using it on carpet. The feet are wide enough that I never feel like its' going to tip over. The back is pretty sturdy even under hard use. While I was initially skeptical of the tilt mechanism and latching (there isn't really a latch at all), it works well and i've had no trouble with it shifting on me while in use. Basically, it works great and doesn't have any durability issues so far. The only downside (and it's a minor one) is that folding situation. Folding it up requires removing multiple pins for the legs to collapse and the bench to fold. It works fine, but it's a bit cumbersome compared to some other models I've seen with spring-loaded latches. So, I really think this bench is best left out. If you need to fold it it will of course fold, but I certainly wouldn't want to do it every day. Maybe once a week would be fine. I'll still give it 5 stars though. it works great, is durable enough, very stable, and priced well. ... show more

I got this for my son to use in case he can’t make it to the gym or just wants to get a quick workout at home til he gets to the gym later. This is a really sturdy bench and it was easy to assemble. Everything about it is great except for one thing: storing it isn’t exactly quick and easy. Bench was very nice to assemble. I don't think I have ever put together anything as organized as this. The parts were all separated in bags with a number that corresponded to the assembly step. That made this super easy to assemble and put into action. The bench has many positions for the incline and is very sturdy. I didn't buy the incline bench that came with my work out machine, so I got this one instead and I am very pleased. Short, Sweet, and Simple Review from a Gold level Vine member.The bench I ordered has proven to be an ok choice. What stood out to me was the organization of the hardware—each set neatly packed in separate bags, labeled for each step of the assembly. This thoughtful detail simplified the setup process, making it a breeze. It's a practice I believe more manufacturers should adopt. The bench itself is robust, offering the same level of comfort one would expect from high-end gym equipment. However, a slight drawback is the narrow leg bars designed for leg and feet anchoring—they don't accommodate people with wider stances as well as I'd like, but it's a minor issue and doesn't detract from the overall usability of the bench. If you don't have a lot of room, this is a good bench to get. It is pretty sturdy - not a lot of padding, but you're also not paying a ton for it. It takes a while to put together (probably an hour if you take your time), and I'd recommend getting a few tools together before starting - it'll make your life much easer. I used a 13mm socket, a 17mm socket, and a 5mm bit driver with a ratchet. Overall, I'm a big boy and it feels plenty sturdy to me. Recommended. ... show more
