First- what was in the box does't look like the listing. The back has a big drop down over the butt. Second the s-m size says 29-39 HA more like 19-29 kiddy size and it doesn't stretch. I'm a 36 and I couldn't even get the ends to touch tip to tip.

This is the worst work belt I've owned. There is not enough velcro on the contact points. I work a very physical job that requires me to be on my feet on concrete and steel grating all day. I have to push and lift heavy road boxes, sticks of truss, moving lights, and heavy cables. The velcro constantly fails and the belt falls off. The elastic tightening straps have the same problem with coming loose. It pops off mid-lift all the time at work. This makes it dangerous to use. ... show more

I picked up the RW501 Breathable Back Support Belt - Back Stabilizer from the OPPO store for back support to use while sitting at the computer and it works v well for this purpose. The slim, wide elastic strap, tapered at both ends, is comfortable and adjustable, fastened with Velcro tabs. I use it over my shirt though it would fit under a shirt w/ease. Product pics and description are accurate except for sizing; is on the small side. I fit S/M according to the chart but sized up to L/XL for good measure and glad I did. It fits well: female, tall, medium build, average weight. I do not think L/XL would fit a more substantial or heavier built person. Is 8-1/4 in at the widest part and is 42-1/2 in length. The Velcro 'field' on either side is 9in with 2-1/2 in of the sticky part. There is an additional criss-cross strap sewn on top of the main strap to be adjusted for support strength: mild to firm. The band is made of firm elastic and offers moderate support. I can see using this for walking, sitting, light yard/housework, laundry eg., activities that require bending. I cannot see using this for heavy lifting and so took off one star for that stated purpose.
