This is a nice small alternative to the bulky hand braces for carpal. It has a nice compression to it, not too tight. Time will tell if it is good in the long game of carpal tunnel.

I needed a wrist brace for a few years now, but I haven't found one I've liked and after many failed attempts, I just stopped looking. After finding these on Amazon's Vine program, I took a chance. I've used these for 2 weeks now, and after a little time, I'm starting to get comfortable using them. They definitely are snug which is nice, the wrist brace itself molds perfectly on my left hand, but trying to game or type was difficult at first. Accidentally pressing the space bar, get frustrated, take off the brace, but minutes later I noticed I started hurting. I put the wrist brace on and after a couple minutes, my wrist felt better. Not perfect, but definitely less pain. It's taken time to adjust my keyboard positioning, but finally have it in a comfortable spot. I'm happy with this find. If you get this, don't be frustrated you don't notice immediate changes. If it's uncomfortable, try to find out why it was and see if it can be adjusted. If it can be, adjust and try again. It's at least what I did and I'm noticing a difference. I'm happy with this brace.

I've been wearing this brace for about 12 hours a day for the last couple weeks. I do feel that it helps when I am weightlifting although when I lift a little heavier weights I would prefer a more stout weightlifting specific wrist brace. When I'm just typing at work or working on remodeling my home, this does provide some wrist support but not much bracing. It's extremely well made, so the quality is pretty good. I have pretty thick wrists so it's quite adjustable for what it is, it's suitably long and the velcro aspect of it is spread out enough to accommodate most sized hands and of course it doesn't weigh anything. It may just be that my issue doesn't respond to this particular style of brace But I'll continue to wear it due to the lack of interference to my everyday work that a much more robust and splinted brace would cause.

I've been on the computer too much lately, then decided to go pull a bunch of weeds. As a result, my hand and base of my thumb have been overworked and ache. I ordered this brace because it is small and looked like it might help (the images on the page show the base of the thumb as one of the target areas it secures). I'm happy to say - it does work. The wrap has velcro so it will fit a wide variety of hands/wrists. You place your thumb through the loop and then wrap. I immediately felt the pressure taken off my thumb - not really sure how or why it works, but it does. Plus, this leaves your thumb and fingers free so you can still use your computer. It's simple, but effective!

This is a simple, wrap-around velcro wrist brace that is described as being helpful for wrist issues. It has a hole for your thumb, so it will support your thumb joint. Since it doesn't have any type of metallic inserts which are in other braces, I would say that it is best suited for people without acute issues with their hands and wrists, as this brace won't limit the movement of your hands, thumb or wrist. Its more ideal for people looking for a low level of immobilization of their hand-thumb-wrist area. It is available for a decent price, so I recommend it for those who need a little bit of support.
