The iFootage Shark Slider Pico Pro has many features that can help video producers produce high-quality video using the camera movements. Its portability and ease of packing allows users to easily take it on-the-go to travel, studios, and film shoots. I really liked how well constructed this unit is. It appears to be made from solid metal and when moving around with your phone, GoPro or light weight mirrorless camera; this slider moves smoothly and does not feel flimsy at all. Setting up the slider is extremely fast and moving your camera from one position to another only takes a few seconds. When I move my camera along this slider, the footage looks like a nice smooth shot which would be difficult to create if I were hand holding the camera. The App adds a lot to the capabilities of the slider by adding additional points of motion (the ability to set multiple stops) as well as more complex motion control. I found the App to be relatively easy to understand. One feature I enjoyed about this product is battery life. With the Pico Pro lasting for several hours on a single charge, and having the option to quickly recharge via USB-C, I felt confident to use it for extended periods during my shoots. There are also two mounting options for tripods and foldable feet allowing me to mount it in almost every location. A couple of things I did not like about the Pico Pro were there were some functions that had a little bit of a learning curve for me personally, and while the motor produces smooth motion, it's still audible enough to be heard in very quiet environments. Additionally, I would suggest using a robust tripod for larger/heavier camera rigs to obtain the best possible results.

I’m really impressed with this motorized slider. The build quality feels super high-quality, it’s very easy to use, and everything operates smoothly. I especially like the belt-and-track system. It moves smoothly and stays incredibly stable, which makes it an easy way to add more dynamic movement to your footage. This is primarily designed for smaller devices like phones, action cameras, and DJI Pocket-style cameras. You may even be able to use a lightweight mirrorless camera as long as your setup stays within the rated payload. I haven’t tried mine yet, but my camera body by itself is light enough that I’m definitely tempted to test it. Another big plus is that the included accessories are actually useful. You get pretty much everything you need to start shooting without immediately having to buy additional attachments. Battery life has also been insanely good. I honestly couldn’t tell you exactly how many hours I’m getting because I rarely have to charge it. I also haven’t had a situation where I needed to run it continuously for hours, but for my normal use, battery life has been excellent. Overall, this is a fantastic little slider. It’s portable, stable, easy to operate, and gives you a simple way to make your shots look much more dynamic. If you shoot with a phone, action camera, or another lightweight camera setup, I highly recommend it.

This motorized slider has been a fun upgrade for creating smoother, more professional looking videos. I’ve used phone gimbals and stabilizers before, but adding controlled movement with a slider takes footage to another level, this makes simple shots feel much more cinematic, especially for product videos, travel clips, and creative projects. The compact design is one of the biggest advantages. It’s lightweight enough to take along without feeling like extra camera gear, and it fits easily into a backpack. Being able to bring a motorized slider on the go means I can capture more interesting shots without needing a large, complicated setup. The controls are also very user friendly. I like that I can adjust movements directly on the device, or use the app for more advanced options. Setting up automated movements with keyframes is a great feature because it allows you to create smooth, repeatable camera moves without needing someone else to operate the camera. This is a very nice and easy to control motorized slider. I actually have two of them now, and use them not only with action cameras, but also with lights to create moving shadows and various other fun effects when shooting. This is what I really like about it. It is very versatile and can be used for more than just basic camera slides. The sliders are easy to set up by hand. I had to spend about 5 minutes initially to understand the buttons and what they do, but then it is really easy. You set the initial position and angle, then the final position and angle, and that is it. You can initiate motion with adjustable speed and even set it on repeat. I did not try it vertically yet, but yes, from the product description it can move lighter equipment vertically, and I want to try it next. The slider itself is exceptionally well made. This is something that comes with every single product from iFOOTAGE. I am a big fan of the brand and I own dozens of their products so far. This slider is no exception. Materials, paint, build, durability, all of that is what you see when you first touch it. The slider comes with a bag, which is very convenient! I want to get a longer variant one day too. Overall, this is very high quality, very versatile equipment with great functionality, and worth every penny.

I think the iFootage Shark Slider Pico Pro stands out because there’s nothing else at this price point that offers motorized linear motion and a rotating axis for phones, action cams, and small mirrorless setups. The build quality seems solid for the category: metal frame, carbon‑fiber tubes, and a built‑in battery that can charge via PD. Before using it, I recommend reading the detailed manual or watching a how‑to video if you’re new to iFootage sliders. For example, if you want to manually set points using the physical controls, you need to first disengage the carriage by pressing the A/B and Play/Pause buttons at the same time. A dedicated unlock button would have made more sense. Motion is smooth, and the Pro version supports up to 3.3 lbs. I tested it with a GH5 II and a 12–35mm lens (about 2.4 lbs), and it handled it without issues, though I wouldn’t use that combo daily — this slider is clearly optimized for lighter rigs. It does produce some operational noise; it’s not loud, but you can hear it working when it’s moving or even just powered on. And while the lightweight design is convenient for tabletop use, it definitely needs a stable tripod to avoid tipping and carriage wobble. The iFootage Moco app is where the slider has the most functionality. It doesn’t require an account, is easy to learn, and lets you set more than two points, unlike the physical buttons. It also has a phone‑camera mode, although I didn’t like it — for example, selecting 24p resulted in 30p recordings. Overall, for creators using phones, action cams, or lightweight mirrorless cameras, this slider is worth a look. The rotating axis and app‑based multi‑point control let you get shots that would be difficult or impossible handheld. The quick‑release system, tiny LCD, and lack of a proper case hold it back a bit, but the core performance and feature set are strong for the price.
