It works SO WELL! And it cuts through my course, wavy hair like butter. I absolutely love it! Here were my initial "objections" prior to purchase: - Expensive! - Only 4 reviews - "Off-brand" - Are removable heads (for cleaning) a gimmick? - Is it actually quiet? - Will the motor be strong enough? - Is battery life actually that good? - Will it last? After almost 5 months of use here's what I think: Price: Yes, it was expensive at $149.99 (what I paid for it), but if you're getting it for the current price of about $110...or even on sale for just under $100...it's TOTALLY worth it! I feel a tad cheated since I paid so much and now there's a coupon. But I can't complain about the quality of it....it's fabulous. Reviews: I'd give it 4.5 stars, taking off for the price I paid. If you don't include the price, I'd give it 4.9 (taking off for no storage case). Off-Brand: Yes, it's off-brand. But I compared it to two name brands (Whal and Remington) and it was superior in every way but one....there's no storage case. Removable Head: Worth It!! So worth it! It makes claening a breeze and I love having it. Noise: It's quiet. Not the quietest, but compared to my Remington ... it's sooo, quiet. Doesn't bother me in the slightest. Motor Strength: My hair is.....difficult. It can never make up it's mind (does something different every day), it's super thick, and it's ridiculously unruly. And yet, this trimmer goes through it like butter. No more snagging on my strange hair, no more tugging, or pinching, or hurting when I trim. Battery: I've used it 5-6 times now, it takes about 20 monutes to do each trim, and I've never had to recharge it yet. It's still on 70% battery! Which brings up another nice thing - the LCD screen. Love being able to see how much charge is left. Quality: So far, almost 5 months in, it's doing great. Of course, I take care of it. I oil after each trim, and make sure to clean the blade each time as well. If this keeps up, it'll last for 5-10 years. Guards: Yes, it's worth it to have all those guard sizes and the color coding is genius. I can't see myself going back to having less or not having the colors. It makes things so easy. Adjustable Taper Head: Being able to manually adjust the blade height a few clicks (versus changing out the guard) for inbetween lengths is perfect. It was always frustrating having the large and noticable line from changing out guards...now I can taper so much nicer. Highly recommend, especially if priced close to $110. My only "con" is that it still doesn't come with a storage container. Currently, I keep it in the box (which is huge!) to keep everything organized and together. If they added a storage box, I'd easily pay $149 for it again.

Disclaimer, I'm not a barber, but was after a high end set of clippers, better than the rubbish cheap ones I'd had in the past. The price of the well known brands was a bit high, and this one had a price that was hard to refuse. Well I'm super impressed... it's as smooth as silk, and cut through my thick head of hair like a hot knife through butter. And I love the huge set of accessories, more than any other brand I've seen. I would say, if you want a high end set of clippers, give this set some serious consideration.

This product is great. I give my boys and dogs haircuts. This one does not jam. It is nice and sharp. The haircuts have become sooooo much easier. Definable worth the investment. It has plenty of attachments. The battery life is extremely well. I have done 2 dogs, 2 kids x 2 and have not had to recharge. Dogs take at least an hour each for a haircut.

I’m not a barber and have an undercut so it’s very easy for me to cut my own hair however, I still like to fade the sides versus having it all shaved (which I don’t like, provide zero style). This machine is a winner for the price. Very little effort needed to fade which is what I’ve been searching for. I’ve become very frugal as everything is expensive so I settled for these clipper and have zero regret.

This is a decent hair clipper that comes with all the necessary attachments to be used in a professional setting. It has good quality but I don't know if it will last as its parts are mostly made out of plastic. I have noticed that professional businesses usually have long-lasting, top-of-the-line, metal tools. And this clipper looks fragile compared to them. Also, its price is a bit excessive for what you are getting, considering that you can get a clipper and trimmer set cheaper than this one tool. When it comes to performance, it is really good as it cuts well and barely makes a noise compared to a regular wired clipper. To me, this tool is better suited for home use if you can afford it's price.

This full barber set with a cordless, rechargeable razor and a wide variety of clip-on spacers makes me wish I had the guts to cut my own hair. I have a layered scissor-cut do that I couldn't begin to do myself, but if I ever want to switch to a crew cut... I will admit that this is the second such set that I've taken in to review, and it's very nice, but since my primary use is as a beard trimmer, it does a fantastic job, but it's definitely overkill. The first unit I reviewed was a cordless razor with a similar set of attachments, but without the display or the speed settings, and it was a little louder, but it was also just under $40. I think if I were starting from scratch, I'd look for the "goldilocks" version that lies somewhere in between.
