  • It’s the real deal, thank goodness, I love this chair ☺️
The media could not be loaded. First off, the seat back feels like office chairs I used to work in as an IT, and that is genius, cute, and comfortable for me. Wheelchairs don’t generally feel cool, but my hair stylist and his co workers were so impressed like wow, that’s quiet, fast or slow as you please and has great control, it's a hit! I’m a disabled veteran and have used several wheelchairs now. With my body being intolerant to almost everything (nerve condition), and my nerves/ coordination/balance being way off, a manual wheelchair (as grateful as I am for its very existence over the last 2 years) only made it so that my partner would push/wheel me around, but not be able to do much else with his hands safely while pushing, this is a problem when getting things done like groceries/shopping/traveling . I needed to try and find a way to ease some of the extra work and effort on his back/ part. We also want to travel someday and wanted to make sure we had an electric mobility device with a reasonable size, weight, acceptable battery, comfort, and was easy to figure out. Granted, I’m not the one lifting the chair, but 37 pounds is almost unheard of for an electric wheelchair. I got my manual wheelchairs and electric skooter from the VA, but they (PT/OT at the closest campus) didn’t want to hear about the obvious difference between a 140+ pound skooter, and this electric wheelchair, they only allow 1 electric mobility device (if it’s one they’re providing) and their electric wheelchair did not have travel friendly batteries, was much bulkier, and it was over 100 lb… I don’t need me an my partner to end up with physical disabilities so this was a Godsend. It is pricey it’s true, but the price does match the products convenience and abilities and the level of maneuverability is pretty priceless, I love this chair and it’s exactly what we were looking for. Our family members, my doctors, friends and service dog are more than impressed with it as well. Going to my first neurology visit with this new chair was a hit as he observed how my dexterity issues were not going to put me in danger here, I mostly just use any part of my arm/hands/fingers to lean onto/against or sit around the joystick as I call it (I can’t even feel my fingers/most of my hands, just random dead spots). It’s nice and stops and goes pretty fast and safely. We went into a large arcade (it’s like Dave and busters for visual) where it was kids day and I was safely maneuvering around them and their curiosities while keeping up with my 6 year old niece. I purchased a small thing that holds items (there’s also a bag right under the seat that you can put things in) right off the arm but blends in off Amazon along with a purple brand seat pillow. The chair without the extra plush is nice but sitting anywhere for extended times is going to be a challenge for anyone I feel like. The ability to cut corners and turn fast in small spaces is great too. I really like this chair and I’ve not been able to just be side by side with my partner in forever while walking, and he loves this now though I’m still getting used to the speed and space management as I go out more. We also took it into the dog park which is mostly dirt, grass, and gravel, it did well across the terrain/ramps. The beeping from the horn/reverse/power on and speed change is noticeable but I think others have said there are ways to get it to be quieter, most ppl don’t mind the one beep or so but it’s noticeable in a quiet area or while someone else is sleeping. I’m adding pictures and a video with us (mostly him) going over some things. P.S. make sure to remove all plastics and items that were part of shipment and packaging before using, we almost didn’t notice a rubber/plastic safety piece on the battery that looked the same texture and color a little. Not a free product review, just for real and I want other ppl with the need to find this too, it’s worth the price for sure. Thank you to the person(s) that made this chair :-) ... show more

  • extremely lightweight and great maneuverability
This wheelchair was really simple to set up right out of the box. the actual chair is together in one piece and the joystick can be attached on either the lef or right side depending on whats more comfortable for you. the seat is really comfortable, but its slightly smaller than usual. i assume thats to keep it compact, but will still fit most people. the joystick is extremely accurate with movement. you just push the way you want the chair to go and it will go the exact way that you move it. if you just push forward/backwards a little bit, it will go slow. if you push all the way forward/backward it will smoothly ramp up to full speed. the battery is easily charged by plugging into the joystick or you can take the battery out and charge by itself. i really like that there are levers you can flip up on the wheels to make it manual in case the battery dies. the battery holds a charge really well. i tested it out for a little over an hour and i still had almost a full battery. as far as transporting in a vehicle goes, this is extremely easy to fold up and throw in the back. even being electric, its lighter than most standard wheelchairs due to it being so compact and the materials used to make the unit. the only issue i had was the power supply unit. there was no damage on the box, but one of the fasteners that holds the power supply was broken off which leads me to believe this happened before it was shipped. i was able to secure it with a ziptie, but i was pretty bummed that this damage was there. overall, this is a solid option for an electric wheelchair. there are cheaper units out there, but the convenience of this one makes it a very strong contender at any price point. ... show more

  • Highly maneuverable, easy operation
This wheelchair is crazy cool. It does away with the old expectation that wheelchairs are large, bulky, slow and cumbersome. At top speed this thing absolutely rips and really hits that 5mph stride - more than enough to keep up or even outpace people who are out walking. The back wheels have aggressive tread which can operate well on pavement, short grass, sidewalks, carpet, slick linoleum, etc. Folding and setup were an absolute breeze - just pull the battery out, undo the rubber blocker, plug it in and charge for a few hours, then you're good to go. One negative I could think about was that the volume is incredibly loud. The on/menu/reverse beeps were extremely loud. To remedy this I took a bit of museum putty and stuffed the hole (it's a tiny opening under the joystick, you'll see it on the flat bottom. Plug it up and it'll instantly become much quieter while still audible). I wish there was a better display also to see the current battery status, your speed, and other metrics so you know how much distance you have left. The LED indicator is a basic way of seeing how much distance you have left, but I like having actual numbers especially for something I would be operating all day in some cases. At almost 3k in price, I don't think it's unreasonable to include that. Those two things aside, the maneuverability of this wheelchair is crazy. It can turn on a dime, it can coast corners with ease. The wheels operate independently and smoothly for turns, and driving is very intuitive. Even backing up. There is no dedicated brake - just let go of the joystick and the wheelchair comes to a halt. I have yet to test this on a slope but I imagine that it will brake if you do not press to advance forwards. The battery is light and I do wonder if it's the full 12Ah rating. However the battery life has been quite good with my testing so far, so I would say that it's either close to or at that rating. I believe that switching the adapter plate will let you use different batteries though, and it's easily removeable to charge (or you can charge through the joystick port as well). So if you wanted to you could pull the battery and charge it in the car while the wheelchair is in the trunk. Honestly, an amazing piece of tech. Wish they had this kind of thing years ago. A wheelchair that can hit 5mph, has a simple joystick operation, and weighs less than 40 pounds - wild! This does come with a little pouch under the seat which is zipped, and you can add bags and other accessories onto the back. Manual mode is achievable by undoing two brake levers on the back - when these are moved, the alarm will sound if the wheelchair is turned off. There are no dedicated pushing grips so you have to grab the back of the wheelchair in order to push it, something that's different from other wheelchairs. There's also no hand brake as well, so do keep that in mind for hills. ... show more
