  • Fantastic! Easy to install, even easier to use!
I was on the fence about buying a SteadyRack mostly due to the price, but now I am kicking myself for not buying it earlier. I am going to order another one for my other bike. The SteadyRack is kind of pricey, but it is worth it in my opinion. If you have a small garage or lots of bikes, this is the best storage solution out there. ... show more

  • Really clears up the space
Having floor racks for everything really took up the space in the garage. After getting these, (5), we have really opened up the floor allowing us to do more with our space. We wish we had gotten these sooner. Definitely recommend these.

  • Installed into drywall. Works great.
I installed this into drywall using 4 100lb anchors. It holds my mountain bike on the wall nicely.

  • With a little re-engineering...
I have a 50lb ebike. I did lots of research to find the right storage solution, even returned a rack from another company because it wasn't right. Steadyrack was a solid-built solution - and so simple - walk the bike up to the rack with the front wheel lifted and roll it right into the rack - solid, secure. Installation was straightforward if you simply watch the installation video and follow it. My issue - the front tire would get pinched in the two Vs of the rack, and due to the weight of the bike by morning my front tire was always deflated - and yes, I have the right size rack - I bought the mountain bike version. With a little ingenuity I was able to raise the front tire in the rack so the tire didn't sit deep in the Vs. (see the pics) Also, I put a small ball in the rear tire holder which shifted the weight of the bike slightly so the front tire wasn't wedged so tight in the V furthest from the wall. Finally, I used one of my hiking poles to gently add a little support under the handlebars - further taking a little pressure off the front tire - and the pole doubles as support to keep the front tire locked into the vertical support bar of the rack. Might sound complicated, but its not - super easy - I roll the bike to the rack - the front tire sits comfortably in the rack, slide the pole in place, and the bike is securely mounted. If you have a heavy bike and a tire deflation issue, give this a try. I don’t recommend this if in a high traffic space, and the rack cannot be swiveled doing this. But for my heavy bike this works perfect! ... show more

  • E-bike capable wall rack!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve got a 2022 trek rail 9.7 ebike. The ebike weighs 55 pounds and this rack handles it no problem. Specs say 85 pound limit. Just make sure to get into a stud if you are mounting a heavier bike.

  • Great! However
Great space saver! The only thing is that I ordered the one it said to for my tire size, which is the mountain bike version, and the rear tire holder is barely wide enough for my tire which makes it difficult to turn the bike to the side and makes a loud squeaking noise when doing so. Will change to 5 stars once contacted about seeing if they have a wider rear tire holder! ... show more

  • A extremely substantial product
We have a couple of bikes that we were trying to determine how to store in a smaller space. We were stumped until we came across the steady rack system. We bought one "regular" size and one "BMX" size for my wife's ebike. I was impressed by how solid the system was when it arrived. Installation was also really easy. (The hardest thing was holding the unit on the wall to mark the drill holes It has a nice algebra-looking picture (and you wondered what you were going to do with the math you learned in high school) :) It is pretty simple. Back the bike up to the wall. Make a mark on the floor, and measure up the same distance (+ how far off the floor you want it to be) on the wall. That sets your drill holes. My bike has been hanging for a couple of months with no problems. to hang the bike, i just picked the front up, and rolled it onto the rack. We ran into a small problem with my wife's bike. Turns out she has a front fender on her bike (Its new and I missed that). We will take the fender off at the end of the season, and then the only issue will be picking up the front of the bike (that's where the weight is). After I got the units, I found out there is a larger size available that is supposed to accommodate bikes with fenders. Oh well.. One thing to note. The advertising says that the unit will rotate 180 degrees. While that is true, don't expect that much swing with the bike in place as you can only swing until the pedals hit the wall, but it does pivot extremely easy with the bike in place, and loading the bikes at an angle saves space. We are very pleased with this unit so far. ... show more
