I bought this lamp recently for the second time and it arrived without the piece to hold the lampshade in place. I used the link provided by amazon to contact the manufacturer, hoping I could just be sent the missing piece, and I never heard back so I bought another and returned this one a week later. Check the lightbulb piece before assembly in case this part is missing, otherwise it's just a lightbulb hanging with no shade and would be tough to disassemble and get back in the box ... show more

Ive had this lamp for about 6 months and havent used it much at all until yesterday over my jewelry desk and about 2 hours in of having it on the shade cracked at the bottom...paying 60 bucks for a lamp and only having it on for about 5 min at a time then trying to actually use it i feel it should last quite a while so yea Im super disappointed. I thought this small light bulb that came with it was not meant to ever get hot? Is it a defect maybe I dont know but Im going to try and get a replacement shade before I end up with glass all over my carpet ... show more
