This is close to a five star product, in fact it might deserve five stars. The only reason it's down to four is because I immediately saw ways the design could've been improved upon with negligible increases in cost. Also, the button/Velcro retention strap on the top is difficult to undo with your thumb, but the button might wear in over time. It's no Quick-Draw-McGraw holster, either; if you're looking to beat the clock this isn't the holster for you. However, my guess is anyone looking to do that already knows this isn't that holster and that they'd need to get something in kydex and form fitted to their weapon. Also, it's a mid-to-high ride holster if mounted on battle belt which is either a pro or a con, depending on your preferences. What this is, though, is a spectacular multi-platform holster. I've jammed all kinds of handguns into it now: a subcompact Sig p365, a p226 with light/laser combo, a Ruger 22/45 (oddly shaped, compared to the standard duty pistol design), a Walther p99, the list goes on. After adjusting the holster to the pistol you're seating, it works perfectly. Much better than I'd ever expect. It holds them tightly, tight enough that I never worried about my pistols coming out on their own even with the thumb break undone. They could, if you really pushed it by hanging upside or something, but it's fine for running and jumping. It covers the pistols completely, and when adjusted leaves essentially no room for things to get to the trigger guard. I tried to squeeze my finger down to the trigger with every gun I tried, and the only one it was really possible with was the Ruger 22/45. The is done well, holds the whole holster very tightly against the battle belt I have it mounted on. Also, while it's not a fast draw holster as stated, it is surprisingly easy and smooth to use; I expected it to be much clumsier, like all the other cloth holsters I've used. Both drawing and indexing felt smooth and natural. If you're looking for a multi-pistol holster, something able to accommodate a range of pistol sizes with a range of different light and laser attachments, then this is the one. It is excellently made and works better than I ever even imagined a cloth holster could.

Pros: - Great craftsmanship - Versatility - Thoughtful design - Can be mounted on belts Cons: - Can't think of any at the moment This is a great holster! Great materials though durability hasn't been field tested. The velcros are strong. The button is tight. This holster has fit my various airsoft pistols with different rail-mounted accessories. The velcro cinch design makes the holster more snug on your handgun, making it more secure. The handgun can hardly shake in the holster! The holster design is thoughtful on airsoft hi capa 2011 or 1911 pistols. Many holsters I've used had an issue with accidentally contacting the mag release button, making the mag fall out and possibly break at least a piece, usually thr base plate. This holster is tapered where the handgrip is, which eliminates the holster from pressing the mag release. However, it is also dependent on how deep you set up the inside velcro that holds the handgun at its front end. I also love the implementation of the inner velcro strap; you can place the strap to hold the firearm at the barrel or at the accessory. And if there's an issue of the gun snagging on the strap when holstering, you can angle the strap as well. That's what I did with my light-mounted hi capa. You can also mount this holster to your belt. Just adjust the molle webbing depending on belt width. Overall, I love this universal holster. I thought I had to only use Streamlight TLR-1/2 or Surefire X300 lights to have an airsoft or real handgun to fit nicely in a universal holster (Blackhawk Omnivore). This One Tigris holster checks off many boxes! I would highly recommend for airsoft or real steel!

Bought a S&W 5.7 a while ago. Needed an OWB holster before my custom kydex came in. Bought this and is is comfortable as all get out. Securely holds weapon w/Olight. Even has a secure strap inside the holster to keep my threaded barrel cover in place. The holster also fits most of my other handguns as well. Great product.

It isn’t perfect. Sites snag easily on interior of holster. I cut and glued a bit of plastic to the inside where the sites rub. No problems since. As others have stated, it secures with a snap against the back of the gun. That is the only real problem I have with it. But you can just not use the snap. There’s a Velcro strap that covers the snap. Also, the snap strap can be removed and just replaced with a Velcro strap if you are so inclined. I don’t think it would be great for a compact pistol. You can’t get it really tight unless the gun has some bulk. That’s probably why people are complaining about it seeming loose. There is an elastic band that you can adjust to change how the gun sits though. It’s sturdy and that makes it great for a heavy full size though. I use it with a drop set up. I think that’s the most comfortable way to use it with a heavy pistol. The material and craftsmanship is solid. It’s probably not military grade durable but it is going to be more than good enough for hunting or security use.

Ordered this because the ad says it’d fit a compact frame…nah.It swallows up a whole Shield and I wanted a rig that would provide easy access (I fly fish in cougar country) It’ll work great for a big framed piece- my G 24 long slide will work well in it. And it seems well made. Regardless, I wouldn’t have bought it had I known it was as big as it is.
