Description

The 6360 ALS /SLS Level III Retention duty holsters are sturdy, lightweight, and provide an extra measure of security while on patrol. The ALS (Automatic Locking System) builds on the foundation of the SLS (Self Locking System) to offer Level III Retention. The SLS rotating hood closure allows for a smoother, single-motion draw, and greater protection against attempted weapon takeaways. Simply depress the hood and push forward to release. The ALS system automatically secures the weapon once holstered, and keeps it that way until released via the thumb lever. The release is achieved in an intuitive motion as the weapon is drawn.

Adjustments seem necessary for optimal fit for some weapons and lights, with one review noting an issue with the draw strap potentially affecting speed. The overall sentiment is positive, with several users inclined to repurchase or recommend the holster to others.

Pros

Should I Buy It?

  • Excellent.
For a while, I have been hesitant to spend the money on this holster. I should not have been hesitant. This is by far the best holster I have owned. It is well constructed, and the Level 3 retention features help to ensure my safety, as well as the safety of those around me (Level 4 retention if you add the SLS sentry safety switch, which I have ordered, has not arrived yet). My weapon and weapon light fit perfectly and securely in the holster, and all the locking devices work well, just as described. I definitely recommend this to LEO's (many already carry this holster as their duty holster) or other civilian carriers. In the product title, this holster is listed as "Glock 17, 22 with ITI Streamlight M3 Light TLR-1, LAS-TAC 2, SureFire X200". In the reviews I read, some individuals were claiming their TLR-1 would not fit in this holster, and the holster itself only says ITI M3 Light on it. Prior to ordering, this information did concern me. However, upon arrival my Glock 22 with TLR-1 did fit this holster perfectly. As far as the other light and laser combo's, I cannot comment. Excellent product. Thanks for reading. ... show more

  • Healing
Lasted through rain, snow, heat, cold, drops, scuffs, impacts and everything under the sun for over 2 years now with 0 indication of damage. It's a great holster. You simply won't have any regrets purchasing this, and it will take all of your worries in life away.

  • As advertised
I have: Glock 17 Gen 5 w/ TLR-8 I ordered: Glock 17 w/ TLR-1 model WORKS GREAT, GEN 5 FITS AND ITEM WAS BRAND NEW. I have never left a review on Amazon but this one deserves it due to the importance of the product being described correctly. I needed a solid level 3 holster for security/police work, and safariland website takes a month or two to receive it. I happened to check Amazon and was surprised to find this listing for $40 less and delivered the SAME DAY. The tlr-8 does fit in the tlr-1 model. I was also worried because some people were saying it didn't fit their gen 5 or they got a used one. I got a brand new one and it fits the gen 5 perfectly. I definitely recommend this for anyone needing this specific combination of holster! I cannot attest to the other nodels/combinations but item was exactly as described. ... show more

  • This DOES NOT fit for Gen 5 Glock 17 (Photo is the correct holster)
My previous review was taken down but this one will be short and simple. If you are searching for the Gen 5 version of this holster, then you need the 6360-8325. I ordered this holster from Amazon and it matches the 6360 but not the -8325 (which is for the Gen5). My Glock 17 with TLR1-HL fit inside until it was time to draw the weapon. I reached out to Safariland and spoke with a representative, and she explained that they are in the works with Amazon about getting a correction on the model and shipping out the appropriate holster to accommodate the needs. She verified that -8325 must show on the model in order for it to work for the Gen 5 version. I searched Amazon for this model and just couldn’t find it, leading me to purchase it somewhere else. The photo above is the CORRECT holster. Other individuals reviewed that they would have to fill down their light in order for it to work but I didn’t want to do that. If you have to alter your gun or light, you have the wrong holster. With this new corrected version, my draw was normal. I didn’t proofread this 🤷🏾♂️ ... show more

  • The best!
This is the best holster period! 30 years experience and I would choose anything else! My department doesn't issue these but we all carry them so do the math. This holster has many positives the biggest being it will buy you time if you find yourself on your back and a suspect is trying to remove your firearm. You don't want your family getting that call that your life ended with your own firearm. We put our lives on the line everyday, this holster is a trusty companion! How much is your life worth? $145 is a cheap investment compared to the newest phone everyone has to have. Don't be cheap, don't be a fool, don't watch YouTube and decide on some gimmick holster! This is the one, It can be a little cumbersome but it's well worth the price of admission!! ... show more

  • Quality
I have a Glock 17 Gen 5 and very disappointed with this holster. Even without the TLR light attached, the pistol barely fits. It takes significant force to insert, and smooth reholstering is nearly impossible. I own a much better quality holster from Safariland for the same pistol, so I know how proper fit and function should feel. This one, unfortunately, falls short. ... show more
