  • Easy to use and comfortable for long periods of use.
Color: Coyote
Excellent product with easy to read and follow instructions. First off follow the sizing instructions and you wont go wrong. Will hold up a large Frame EDC in a holster OWB no issues. Belt is comfortable and rigid. Also good to use with a IWB system. You will forget your are wearing it. The release system is quick and easy to use to get the belt on and off. ... show more

  • Time will tell
Color: Black
So I have only had this belt for about a week and I will admit it was better than I expected right out of the box. So I am a huge fan of Kore Essentials belts which I have been wearing my current one for about 5 years now. My brother love these Next belts, but when I compared them physicaly side by side I always found the kore belt to be a little more sturdy. However I do like the Next belt buckles a bit better. Sadly my kore belt (despite still working perfectly) is showing its age. It stared to fray and the finish on the buckle is wearing off. So I started shopping around and someone told me that this particular Next belt has a similar core as the kore essential belts and was pretty solid. After looking at it I also like the idea of the push button buckle so I ordered one. Now right out of the box it has been everything promised, a very rigid belt great for carrying. When I cut it down to size per the instructions (same as kore essential belts) I could see the solid core. I'm not sure what the material is, but it's very similar to what I found when sizing my kore belt. The only thing I'm really still on the fence about is the buckle. It seems well made and works great right now, but I have seen all the reviews of them breaking. Also it feels much nicer then the lever action buckles so I don't know why their aren't more like it, unless it's a gimmick and they know they don't last or maybe they become less reliable as they wear out. I hope I'm wrong because it really is a much better feel when adjusting. I guess time will tell. I love my Kore essentials belt and so far I'm loving this particular Next belt. 5 stars as long as it keep things up, lol. ... show more

  • Great belt, better feel than the other - wished it lasted longer
Color: Black
I updated this a few times - read until the end: I like the ratcheting belts as it can tighten incrementally. I have a number of ratcheting belts from another company but wanted to try out the Nexbelt based on internet comments. Pros: Buckle size is a plus - 1.5" wide on the front and back, so arguably will work well for appendix carry. The quality of the outer material of the belt is nicer and feels more EDC than the mil-spec nylon-feel of other companies belts. Black and red ratcheting is a lovely color combo as well, albeit you don't see the red portion. The "click" sounds more mechanical like a watch-part than a iron-factory cog. Belt is sized up to 50", but you need about 4" for carrying a firearm so this will fit up to 46"-ish waists if you carry. Cons: The rigidity is less than the other well known ratcheting belt brand, though it is better than other Amazon choices. In comparison, I feel like I have to cinch this belt uncomfortably tighter at first, otherwise it slips by the end of the day. No belt loop for the excess. For the average EDC carrier, this isn't an issue as your size is consistent. However for conceal carry carriers the belt could flex in dimension throughout the day for on/off, so if your leftovers doesn't align with your pants belt loops, this excess could be annoying. Fortunately the other well known brand sells simple velcro belt loops if you need it (I have extras from mine). Price: I paid $69 a week ago, currently on Amazon $79, on their website direct $59 (likely plus tax and shipping). It's not any less expensive than the alternative - it is on par. Overall I would choose this if I need to carry appendix (I carry 3:00) or want an EDC belt with a more fashionable look. It otherwise is functioning like the other ratcheting brand and the decision to go with company would be arbitrary, not because the belt is better than the alternative. Edit: after over six months of use, I would say this belt is fantastic. Skip the other Nexbelt models and the other brands - this one is comfortable, and the buckle is the ideal size, albeit a little thick. I have had no issues and the slipping must have been user error as I don't run into issues since. The rigidity is still less than the other major brand, but it still works solid. My other brand sits in a drawer and hasn't resurfaced since. If this belt wore out, I would just buy another and not even bother pulling the other brand out of the drawer...that's how much I like this belt now. Already picked up the tan one as a back up. Edit2: May 30th 2022, almost 1year 2months to the day I bought it, the button snapped off and fortunately I was in my walk-in closet when it happened, and not out and about. Without that button, you cannot take off the belt. But if you insert the part, you could take it off. Fortunately I have the tan one and Amazon Prime has these in a day turn around. The black one was my daily belt for 99% of that year and 2 months and got a lot use. Unfortunately parts are only warranties for a year. I'm going to see if NexBelt will fix the buckle. Edit 3: Regarding Nexbelt issue in 2022, I did reach out to them and they did send me a new buckle which is why I have continued to stay with them. Edit 4: Oct 2024, I have a few of these belts now and I stopped using the other brand because this buckle is extremely comfortable. I tend to wear them out after a year or two, which isn't band, but compared to traditional leather belts this may be sub par to you. I recently took the belt form the other brand and tried it out so it appears the belt itself is compatible, which is a bonus as NexBelt does not offer this Supreme Carry version is any other colors besides tan and black, and the other brand sells the belt itself separately. One thing to note is when I disassembled the older belt, I noticed that the screws have a set-screw tip, but at some point I got an actual set screw with a spike tip (probably with the replacement). This would be better for the setup as the set screws just pin the belt, whereas the spike pierces through it and would retain it much better. I'm not sure if the newer belts come this way, but they should. ... show more
