  • Super Adjustable but not for thick thighs!
Color: B-black
So im going to start by saying this is super cute and amazing!! It’s very adjustable and really cool. Definitely easy to use and wear. I wish the straps were a lot longer. Imma thick girl myself and the straps barely fit in the leg but it does the job. I was able to make them a bit longer and it worked. But other than that it looks and feels amazing!!! I love this so much ... show more

  • My bad, good product
Color: B-black
I left a prior review, but after some help I realized the reason I couldn't get the leg straps to fit is that I'm dumb. 5 stars

  • Ok for the money
Color: B-black
Was looking into Drop Leg Holsters for 3 gunning. I wanted to move the pistol off of my belt so I could hold more shotgun shell caddies, plus the holster on my belt gets a bit uncomfortable after a day of moving around. Pros: Price - This is inexensive for any holster, so it is worth trying out without sinking a bunch of money. Fit (Handgun) - I have a Sig P228 (No optic or flashlight/laser), and was able to get the holster sized correctly to the firearm with the trigger covered (Per 3-gun rules) Fit (Body/leg) - This was easy to adjust to fit onto my competition belt, length adjustment, and thigh. Drawing firearm - Getting my hand on the grip and out of the holster was easy. It will probably get better with more practice. Retention (securing firearm) - This seemed ok also. Once I got it adjusted, the firearm was not coming out of the holster. Meh: Re-holstering - Again, probably need more practice, and re-holstering quickly is not a needed skill for 3-gun, but it was not as crisp as a kydex holster. Comfort - Probably a 'getting used to it' thing again, but it bounced around a bit more than I would like. Cons: Retention (drawing) - This sucked. Trying to get the thing unsnapped/unvelcroed was complicated and not a fast process. Even with practice I do not think this will get better. Retention (adjusting) - This really sucked. Had a hard time working the velcro to th adjust the length to fit my firearm Lower leg strap - The lower leg strap has a bit of an elastic band to help with keeping the holster snug. At first glance, this was a good thing, but thinking it through, with a lot of running, this band will get worn out eventually and will end up just being a flimsy piece of cloth. I don't know with the Cons if I will use this in competition or not. I have run around the house and up and down stairs with it, and it seems secure enough. But I am already slow, and trying to get the firearm out of this holster with the retention will slow me down even more. ... show more

  • Think this holster won't work for you? Think again.
Color: A-Tan
I carry an HK VP9 as my primary sidearm, and accessories for that weapon can be a little steep in price. I already own a chest holster and an IWB/OWB Kydex holster, but I've been considering a drop leg holster for a while now. It's not that there's anything wrong with my other holsters. They each have their purpose, but sometimes the IWB/OWB holster gets a little uncomfortable while the chest holster is really a more specialized carry option for protection from big animals while hunting. The drop leg holster seemed like a good compromise. It's not a concealed carry option, obviously. It is, however, more practical than a chest holster in most circumstances, and it's far more comfortable than an IWB/OWB holster. It's also worth mentioning for those who have never worn a drop leg holster that your weapon will be more readily accessible with one. Popping the thumb break off, drawing, and aiming can be done quickly and smoothly. Far more so than with other carry methods. All of the above said, let's get down to this holster in particular. It can be adjusted to a wide array of pistols, and they are rock-solid once the holster is properly fit. My VP9 was a cinch to fit into the holster, and even the mag pouch is adjustable. I've been using the holster as often as possible for the last couple of weeks without issue or complaint. I've even fitted my wife's Sig Sauer P365 with its laser sight securely. Sure, it looks hilarious to see a compact pistol's grip sticking out, but if you want to carry a weapon that size in a drop leg holster then look no further. I can't speak to durability yet. The 1000-D nylon is the same material used to make my dog's chest protector. It appears to be sufficiently rugged, and all the stitching is neat and snug. It's safe to say I'll be putting the holster through a little hell. I'll report back when I have a better idea of how it holds up. ... show more

  • Wouldn't recommend. Left me bloody
Color: B-black
I would not recommend this holster. Obviously you get what you pay for, but the design and construction of this holster need some work. It's difficult to get it to fit, both around your gun and around your leg. i went to draw my gun (dryfiring) and my fingernail caught on the very poorly placed retention snap, and ripped my nail off the nail bed ... show more
