Good buy
Color: White
Love them. Pattern and color as described. Heavier than I thought they would be. I like the ridges around the edges. I live in a studio, so I don’t have a kitchen table, and I need to eat in my chair. Keeps food on the plate and not sliding around. I wash by hand, so don’t know how they would fair in the dishwasher. Bowls are not very deep, so if you’re looking for depth and overall size, not for you.

Stylish Dinnerware
Color: White
I got this dinnerware set primarily for its decorative appeal, and it has exceeded my expectations in that regard. The floral pattern is vibrant and eye-catching, making it a perfect choice for adding a touch of elegance to my dining table. Each piece, from the dinner plates to the accent plates and bowls, showcases the intricate design beautifully. I've hosted several dinners since buying this set, and guests have consistently complimented the plates, often remarking on how lovely and unique they look. As purely decorative items, they serve their purpose exceptionally well. In terms of practicality, the melamine material is a notable advantage. It's lightweight, which makes handling and serving easier, especially during gatherings. One downside I've noticed is that while melamine is durable, it doesn't have the same premium feel as ceramic or glass. If you're looking for something with a more traditional or upscale appearance, this might not be the ideal choice. That said, for its intended use as decorative plates, the build quality is satisfactory and aligns well with the affordable price point. Overall, this set has been a great addition to my home decor. The combination of its attractive design and practical features makes it a versatile choice for anyone looking to enhance their table setting without breaking the bank. While it may not be suitable for everyday use if you prefer heavier materials, it shines as a decorative option for special occasions or when you simply want to impress your guests. If you're in the market for something stylish and functional, I would definitely recommend considering this set.

Attractive and lightweight dinnerware but can’t be used in a microwave Attractive and lightweight dinnerware but can’t be used in a microwave
Color: White
We like these plates and bowls but were surprised that they cannot be used to reheat foods in the microwave. They are nicely lightweight and have raised edges for moist foods and an attractive and colorful pattern. I’m not familiar with Melamine, but we do like how light they are and that they won’t shatter if dropped on a hard surface, 2 things increasingly important as we age. They are dishwasher safe and seem to hold up well, which continues to surprise us that they cannot be used in a microwave which forces us to choose other plates for our meals that require reheating. As such we use them for salads and dinners that are hot from the oven, but never our lunches which are often reheated leftovers from earlier meals.

I'd Been Using Plain Gray Plates, and These Brightened Up My Table
Color: White
For everyday meals, I had been using a set of plain gray plates that were perfectly functional but not very interesting. This floral dinnerware set adds a much nicer look to the table without feeling too fancy for casual dining. The pattern is cheerful and makes even a simple meal seem a little more special. The set includes dinner plates, smaller accent plates, and bowls, which covers everything I typically need for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pieces are lightweight compared to ceramic dishes, but they still feel sturdy and well-made. I also like that they are melamine, which makes them a practical choice for everyday use and less worrisome than breakable dishes. The bowls are a good size for soup, cereal, or salads, and the plates easily accommodate regular family meals. After several trips through the dishwasher's top rack, the colors and finish still look great. Overall, this is an attractive, practical set that has made my everyday table setting much more enjoyable. NOTE: I am a member of the Vine Voice program and received this item at no cost in exchange for my honest review. I depend on reviews when making my purchase decisions and hope this review is helpful to you in making your decision.

Great set, just don't microwave them
Color: White
This is my first set of melamine dinnerware. I really didn't know what melamine was or how it was different than other sets. Well, turns out these are a plastic material that's very durable when taken care of. They are shatterproof and so far haven't even taken any damage from knives. The design is great and I love that it's a full set of small plates, large plates and bowls. What I didn't know, is that if you microwave these (which you shouldn't) they can not only melt, but leach harmful chemicals into your food. So make sure that everyone in your household knows not to do that. Also I wouldn't put these in the dishwasher. The good side is that they clean pretty easily when hand washed.

As durable as they are beautiful. As durable as they are beautiful.
Color: White
This is a beautiful and worry-free collection of "24 Seven" everyday dinnerware from Oneida. I ordered the "Floral" option, and these dishes arrived smartly and safely packaged inside a sturdy, branded box. None of my pieces show any sign of damage or flaws. This set contains four 10.4" dinner plates, four 8" accent plates, and four 6" bowls. The plates all have a good lip on them to contain sauces and prevent spills, and the bowls have nice, steep sides and a generous 20 ounce capacity. These melamine dishes have a smooth, matte finish. They are top rack dishwasher safe, but are NOT microwave safe. The modern, watercolor botanical print on these pieces is simply lovely. It features an array of corals, pinks, yellows, and greens. The colors are much more vibrant in person than in the online product photos. This truly is a perfect spring and summer collection; it has a very "garden party" vibe. I grew up eating off of melamine dishes, and I am thrilled to see them making a comeback. The material is lightweight, but incredibly durable - great for everyday use. Currently on a "Limited time deal" for $24.99, they are also very affordable. They would make an excellent gift for an avid gardener; they are perfect for meals on the patio, surrounded by nature. I love this dinnerware set. It combines beauty with functionality, and just a hint of retro nostalgia. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you, Oneida - wonderful product!
