The best 20 bucks I have ever spent! Easily worth more! I bought this with my money and without any type of reimbursement for my review. This lamp has a nice weighted bottom which was very important to me because I have an one year old granddaughter learning to walk. Yes, of course when she's here I keep an eye on her, but accidents happen. I have a large exposed globe light bulb in it with no shade on it so if that would fall on her and break, chances are it wouldn't end well. I'm just a hair over 5' and the lamp is about as tall as I am. I love the floor style on/off switch. With just a light step or press I can turn it on and off. With this being my first ever lamp with that kind of switch I had no idea how much I would appreciate it. It's honestly very nice being able to turn the light on and off without feeling around for it. If you're wheel chair bound, have arthritis, Parkinson disease, or any other issue that effects your hands or mobility, and keep some type of reach tool handy, you would also appreciate the floor switch because you would just have to take your reach tool and press it. Easy peasy! This is just a solid lux floor lamp. I get compliments on it just about every time someone visits. I really like the large globe style vanity lights for it (sold separately). Just make sure the bulb is NOT a dimmable bulb. They come in many different wattages and lumens so just pick the one that is best suited for your needs. They also come in many different shades from amber, smoke, soft white, clear and so on. I have tried an amber shade bulb that is of lower wattage and lower lumens. It looked the best in it and is perfect if you just need a little light to get around safely. However I decided to try and ultimately stayed with a much brighter soft white globe style bulb with over twice the amount of lumens and wattage because I needed something much brighter for that corner of my living room. ... show more

I ordered two of the brassy tone lamps to flank my fireplace and add lighting by some chairs. They are gorgeous. They are VERY easy to assemble and have a foot pedal to turn on and off with ease. I thought the advertising was confusing because in places it said lightbulb not included and then in the details it says lightbulb included. It wasn’t included. The lamp looks nice and was very easy to set up. Feels sturdy and stands straight. Considering buying another one!

It has good aesthetics but the finishes are not good. I have a few blemishes ,scratches or rust on the product. I tried to clean it but didn’t help. I was hoping for a clean and new lamp.
