I needed to replace and old, brass halogen floor lamp that wasn't looking too nice anymore. I didn't want another halogen bulb due to the high heat, energy usage and possible fire hazard. An led bulb was what I was looking for. I really liked the marbled glass shade on this lamp. The antique finish really compliments the glass shade. I really never knew 3-way led light bulbs existed but found a 2-pack right here on Amazon. They work great! The lamp was packaged very well and there was no damage or scratches at all upon receipt. Another reviewer talked about having the vacuum cleaner nearby while unpacking. This was good advice as the styrofoam tends to break apart while unpacking. Assembly was easy and quick. The lamp is sturdy and beautiful. At first, the 3-way led bulb only switched between on and off. The next day, it started working correctly through all 3 levels. It has been working fine ever since. One of life's mysteries I guess. I am very happy with this lamp. You will be too.

I bought this for another light in my living room. It is classy looking and sturdy. The color is nice and neutral so it goes with many different looks. The only thing i slightly dislike is I thought it would be a little taller. Other than that it’s a perfect fit for my home! Also very easy to put together and was packaged well.

When I first started looking for a new lamp when my old lamp died I looked around and couldn't really find what I wanted I went to Home Depot and bought two lamps each of them had their own flaws but this one that I got from Amazon works well in my office. It has three settings low, medium, and high. It can go all way up to 150 W bulb which lights up your office well. The assembly was a breeze but if you rush through it you can strip the threads but I took my time and it took me a total of 20 minutes at the most. This lamp so far has exceeded my expectations and the price was under hundred dollars which was great.

Nice enough looking lamp fixture, as a whole. Functionally, I was able to use a standard wall dimmer in conjunction with a 3-Way LED light (Philips LED 532050) with excellent dimming results, despite manufacturer claims and many reviews to the contrary. YMMV. I do get three different light levels using the built-in switch, but there's not much difference between the 3 settings. I get much better results with the wall switch dimmer and the lamp on "High", though other buyers might get better dimming results using a LED-specific dimmer switch. My biggest disappointment with this lamp is the finished appearance, especially given its price and the other reviews praising how great it looks. The culprit is the method used by the manufacturer to pack the lamp for shipping. Rather than one or two pole pieces, this lamp pole is broken down into 5 threaded sections, in addition to the light fixture and lamp base. Each junction is a place where the finish can potentially chip, either during shipping or assembly. Two of mine had chips from shipping, and most the joints looked were as pictured after assembly. At a minimum, if the manufacturer is going to continue shipping in this manner, they should include a bottle of touch-up paint for the inevitable chips. The base is heavy enough, but the outer shell - to which the pole assembly is affixed - is flimsy, allowing the pole to flex and tilt off vertical. Mine also had spot where the lower edge was folded out, like a squished tin can. I straightened it but there's still a bit of a bump, as shown. At least the glass shade arrived in tact - always a concern when shipping any glass item. In the end, these are niggling defects that are not worth the inconvenience of re-packing and returning the lamp, but next time I would definitely look elsewhere. Ours is in a darker corner of the bedroom but I wouldn't put this in a living room where the defects would be more obvious.

We needed a lamp for a dark corner of a room that would fit behind a corner table. This one seemed to fit the bill. When we received it I was surprised at the weight of the base. It seems to be solid marble. This turns out to be useful if you plan to use the pull chain to operate the switch. The included LED bulb turned out to be just right, proving adequate light with out that white glare you sometimes get with LED's. It is well made and all the seams fit together tightly so as to appear to be one piece. The assembly instructions would have you remove the socket from the lamp head to avoid twisting the cord while screwing the post to the base. I didn't see how that could help without completely removing the cord, which would be next to impossible to replace after the lamp was assembled. I left it together and carefully screwed the base to the pole while turning the cord as best as I could to keep it from twisting up. It may have a few turns in it but nothing that could be considered a hazard. It was neither the most expensive or the cheapest lamp we looked at, but we think it is a good value and expect to have it for many years.

Hard to find a sturdy, simple, floor lamp which accomodates a 150watt bulb at a reasonable price. This one really illuminates without glare, fits neatly into space beside a recliner, and looks good. It doesn't clash with other decor. It has a super-solid base which absolutely won't tip, even when bumped by pets, balance is just right. It shipped quickly even during holidays. It was easy to assemble, directions are in English, take up one sheet of paper, and show exactly what to do. No tools required. Very satisfactory purchase.

I hate this lamp. The shade has Velcro strips for assembly that not only make it cheap and complicated, but a jagged edge immediately cut me. The lamp shade has a pink tint and I wanted plain white. There aren’t 3 settings—it’s on & off. The lamp is not sturdy overall. No full instructions included in the box.
