I am a senior and sometimes can not use a product the way intended. But I am very inventive. I ordered a larger window film and used the heavy cardboard at the end of the role to slip a curtain rod through and Presto - I have a shade. I adore the look and it was easy for me with arthritis to do. It is a wonderful hue of blue, makes my room a soft glow instead of bright sunlight and the room is much less warm. I have tall windows to the ceiling they can generate much heat! Great point too, I can see through to floating clouds and deeper blue sky. Wonderful product:)

I am giving it 2 stars because if it would actually stick, it would have been a really nice shade for my windows. But it will NOT stick. I followed the instructions exactly but it still won’t stick. After a couple of hours of being on my windows, the film just starts to fall. It’s a shame because it really looks like it would be a very nice shade, and once I put it on, I instantly felt the relief of heat from the sun beaming into my windows. My room temp lowered a few degrees! Revised: I received a message from the seller (which I didn’t expect) and offered to Make things right. I really appreciate that. They value customers and that is rare nowadays so thank you! As mentioned the film is pretty, you ca see outside but cannot see inside and it is not so Dark That you do not get any light into the room, however it is dark enough that it lowers the degrees that make your room very hot and uncomfortable. I WILL buy again!

I have read a few of the other reviews and I have to agree that this is not at all one way. I can fully see through both sides. This installed well and it dims the light coming through, but you can see everything (dimmer slightly) from both sides. Maybe the one I got are just defective, but this is useless for the purpose that it states.

This is a true blackout film.. you cannot see through it at all, which is exactly what I needed. The vinyl itself is decent quality and easy enough to work with. It did the job perfectly for my lower screen door and my bathroom window where I needed full privacy. Installation does require a little patience. Keeping the window wet during application makes a big difference and helps it go on much smoother. If you’re looking for something that completely blocks visibility and all light, this definitely gets it done.

Unless you plan on using the whole thing in one go, I wouldn’t recommend it. The tools were nice but the film causes wrinkles in the tint, so it had imperfections before I even put it on the window. When you cut it to the correct length, the plastic wrinkles and the film rolls up causing it to leave marks on the tint. The tint looks great from the outside. You get what you pay for, I usually buy $30 tint from Lowe’s, and I’ve reused it 3 times without it wrinkling like this.

Either I am confused as to what one way privacy film actually does or this is not really a one way privacy film because it doesnt matter which side of the film that i apply to the window or sliding glass doors, the person standimg on the opposite side from me can definitely see thru...Not clearly as visible in low lighting conditions but again that is not what i think of when I see a product listing for a One Way Privacy Film... IThis film is just basically a standard 35% window tint... nothing more!
