The media could not be loaded. The included instructions are not very clear. They state that it does not come with a battery, but provide charging instructions. It will not work without installing a battery or plugging it into a USB-C cable during use. That being said, it did work to reset my maintenance box. My printer is used daily in an office and we’ve had to replace the maintenance box once previously. Now, I can clean it out and reset it without ordering a new one. Considering the price of this product and the price of a new maintenance box, this product isn’t a good value unless you have multiple printers and regularly fill up your boxes. ... show more

    • Good To Have On Hand
Sooner or later your inkjet printer (Epson ET-15000) is going to show you an "error message" that the ink waste reservoir is almost full. At that time, you will have a very short period of time until the printer shuts you down completely. That's when you will wish you had a replacement ink maintenance box on hand so you can remove the full one and insert the new empty one. If you do have one on hand, there is a video on You Tube that shows you a step-by-step procedure to replace it. But that's not where it ends. Because when you have the new one installed you now have to tell your printer that it is there. That's where this chip resetter comes into play. This chip resetter comes with instructions on how to use it to inform your printer that it now has an empty ink maintenance box. Complete these steps and you can continue to use your printer. Alternatively, you could send your printer to a repair service to do all of that for you. But when you add up the price for shipping both ways plus the fee the repair service is going to charge, you will probably see that you can just buy a new printer for less cost. ... show more
