Others have complained that they received this tool with an alignment issue. I received mine the same way. I was excited to get my new machine set up and cutting. I installed this tool and aligned all three mirrors backwards as intended. When completed I removed the tool and reinstalled my lens assembly. Firing a pulse revealed that it was waaay off. I had to realign all three mirrors the traditional way. I love the concept, just wish it wasn’t junk.

This thing is well made and can really upgrade your machine. I contacted support abt size and installation couple times before I bought and they replied very quickly and patiently within a day.

Worked to aid in alignment if my 80w blue and grey OMTech laser. Took a star as the unit arrived with a dead battery. I have a crap load of CR batteries but not the oddball CR1632 used in the laser tool. Another $5 spent.

This is a nice idea for alignment of your laser. The reality when I used it was nothing but bad. I was kinda excited to get this hopefully that it would make my laser more accurate. I went through and aligned it to the laser and when I did it test the actual beam didn’t even hit the second mirror. I had to get my laser back up to finish a job. The idea is good maybe something was just really messed up on my laser and when I get some time I’ll look a little more into it. If you get this hopefully you’ll be able to get better results. The company was good to deal with but it didn’t work for me.

Just a warning ... the laser I received has an M22 x 1.0 thread instead of the M22 x 1.5 thread the product information/pictures show. This wasn't a problem for me, but not what I was expecting. Maybe OMTECH can look into this inconsistency.
