    • Mackenzie Battles the Fae Queen
The saga of Mackenzie reaches a climax in this book. She still has alot of self doubt and self pity. But she still cares about her friends and make shift family. Her relationship with her biological father changes as they face battles together. Her relationship with Amy at first appears to be lost but over time and with a common enemy it improves. The action is good. Mackenzie 's indeciviness can be tough to appreciate. Her ability to find her way seems like a series of Lucky moves at times. When she finally gets to battle it takes tremendous loss to get her to win the day. The book is good. The storyline is entertaining. ... show more

    • Very exciting
I couldn’t put it down and had to finish it before I fell asleep. There were a few things I didn’t like in the story... but they would be major SPOILERS. Main thing was, in vague terms, again Kenzie didn’t tell the person she wanted to cure that the cure would cost someone’s life. Had that person known, she would not have been interested in it and the other person would not have decided to sacrifice themselves for her. Plus she’s not going to take the cure anyways, probably, now that she can kick butt in battles. So that person we loved is dead for no good reason. It was a complete waste, in my opinion. He was wounded, but not fatally. It was like the author wanted to end that story line. I was really upset about it. Especially as we know she won’t want the cure anyway. But either way, the story was exciting and our Kenzie definitely did some much needed growing and maturing. It was definitely a fun read... until someone important died, at least. ... show more

The begining and the end. All of the things good and bad that have happened to Mackenzie Grey are finally becoming clear. Some fences will be mended and some will be torn to shreds. Expecting the unexpected has always been Mackenzie's way of life. Being Moon Bound after the slaughter of the Luna's and the revolution she has to figure out her way in SIU. Enter Cassidy and we have a new player in the game. I just can't put this book series down.... So on to Book #5. ... show more

I have mix feelings on this book. I like the plot and characters, something’s did not need to be in the book. For example,Kenzie and Amy going going to the party at James apartment. What was the point in that.This whole series was not written well it had a lot of repetitive parts that only should have been stated once. The book was more like a 3.5 but I felt it closer to 4 than 3. ... show more

It's the finale to a series that’s all about girl power. Mackenzie has been taking time to heal and reflect on all the changes in her life. Still separated from her pack, her inner wolf has been weakened. But there’s an evil still lurking and she’ll have to count on old friends in order to make it through. She’s in for an awakening that will rock her entire world. The book was always at a good pace. There was plenty of action scenes and she even ramped up the romance for the final book. There was a lot of questions that were answered but I would still like to see a spin off of some of my favorites. And of course, Mackenzie was always hilarious even when she was at a weak moment. ... show more
