Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. I couldn't resist this lens upon hearing about it. I work for a waterproof notebook company, and I do most of my photography outdoors in rainy Washington State. The weather sealing, focal length, smooth bokeh, and razor sharpness that Olympus boasts about struck me as the perfect combination for outdoor, heavy-weather portraiture. I use it with the Panasonic G85 and it's a great pair. The weight is balanced, both camera and lens enjoy weather sealing, and the G85 has some focusing features that work well for this lens. The G85 has a precision AF mode that allows you to pick a very specific point of focus (great for narrow DOF lens like this), and it has an auto-zoom manual focus feature to expedite manual focus. The quick AF/MF clutch on the lens makes switching so easy, and you can nail accurate focus quickly through AF or MF. I was hoping for a little closer minimum focus distance, but I guess it's pretty good for a bright prime. I'm so happy with this. Absolutely thrilled. These pictures are wonderful, I can shoot freely in low light, and I can charge into the elements to work without fear. Finally!

Should have bought this lens 6 years ago but I did not see the need with the 45 1.8, I was wrong. This lens is leagues above and is a trull pro lens. Superb sharpness across the frame and wide open, beautiful bokeh, and color. Focuses fast and is built exceptionally well. Highly recommended!

This Olympus Lens is by far one heck of a Portrait Lens. Truly a 5 Star lens across the board. I own all the MZuiko Micro4/3 PRO lenses. Everyone of them has exceeded my every expectations. I use this and all my other MZuiko Pro lenses with my 2 OMD-EM1's, OMD-EM1 MkII and my Great Little Pen-F, ALL perfectly matched lens to body... I highly recommend this outstanding, very fast Pro 45mm f1.2 lens, as well as ALL The Other MZuiko Pro Lenses in the Olympus Line-up... Worth every dollar spent for this GREAT System...

This is my first Zuiko Pro lens, and my first 1.2 for m43. For the image quality that this produces, the size and weight is remarkably small and light. Portrait and subject isolation no problem. Excellent, excellent, excellent. I'm gradually gong back to m43 after playing with Canon and Nikon and Sony. I am most impressed with the quality of the build, even little things like a barrel Fn button that is actually placed where a finger would be, and grips on the barrel to facilitate getting the lens on and off.

Love it. I am a weekend photographer and this lens ROCKS!. Creamy Bokeh -- and edge to edge clarity. I also have the 75mm prime -- and the less expensive 45mm Olympus (tiny lense). No comparison here. For portraits this lense is fantastic!!

An awesome lens for the M43 system. Handles well on an EM-1 and the E-M5 too. Solid build and the nice manual snap ring. Sharpness of the images is perfect and the thing focuses very fast. With the f/1.2 the depth on portraits is very nice, maybe too shallow. It is pricey for some but in the end it is worth it.

The Olympus 45mm 1.2 and 75mm 1.8 are must have lenses for Portrait photographers. They are both magical and worth every cent. Olympus makes unbelievably amazing lenses. The results transcend technical specs. Hesitated for a long time to buy the 45mm but with every new photo I take with this lens I'm falling in love more deeply as I get to know it's unique character.
