We bought this aquarium stand for our new 55 gallon fish tank set up. The assembly wasn't too difficult for my wife and I to do together. The stand looks great and seems to be very sturdy. We love the amount of storage underneath the stand. It stores all of our fish food and extra tank decor. I took out the self on the right side of the stand so I can put a 5 gallon bucket with my tank cleaning hose and accessories. The stand looks long and wide enough to accommodate a 75 gallon tank. Read the description. It does take two people to assemble. But yes it’s beautiful and solid. The assembly is easy as the instructions are easily understood. Well packaged. 5 stars!

Went together easily and simple to follow instructions. One issue was the first delivery it came in a box that looked like it was opened and rolled down the street. Held together with packing tape. I got it switched right away and Amazon made it quick and easy. Replacement was a new box. Took about 2 hours to assemble and after it was finished it looked great. This thing is very strong, very heavy. Absolutely no problem holding a 20 gallon tank. Couple small downsides, it's mostly MDF, and the bottom of the feet are raw MDF with no leveling adjustment. You may want to paint the bottom of the feet or add some spacers as the floor cannot get wet under the fish tank. the feet will immediately soak water up and start to delaminate ... show more

Like the sturdy build. Did not like the fact of press board, but it seems to be really sturdy and heavy for press board, so that is good. Easy to put together. Probably will order another.

Aside from 100% particle board and paper-thin veneer, the product is heavy, seems sturdy and *should* hold the claimed weight of 660 lbs, which you will need for a fully loaded (tank, water, gravel, rocks, lights, filters, etc.) aquarium. That said, this type of particle board is subject to swelling if it gets wet, so make sure to quickly dry up any spills immediately. Now the bad... The packing material is extremely subpar. The styrofoam they used arrived crumbled and stuck to everything (static). The internal parts didn't have a chance of surviving shipment under these conditions. Not so bad in my case since most parts were internal or facing the rear, so I assembled anyway and figured I could just replace the two split facia board under the front edge. There's a prominent insert that begs for a "5-star" review, and if there's any issues or damage, contact them directly so "they can make it right". Yea, OK. Turns out the components I need replacing (basically wood) is "imported and takes 6-12 months to replace" - this directly from Customer Service. Their remedy is to "contact the retailer and return for a refund or replacement". Sure, I'll just drop it in an envelope and shoot it back to Amazon! At this point, I'll live with it and maybe get around to putting some real wood where it should be and staining to match. Also note, this is a tad wider and much deeper than a 55 gal aquarium. Not a big deal as you can use that space as I did to add holes so that needed plumbing and cords could pass through. So bottom line, if you get lucky and get a 100% non-damaged item, it's decent. Otherwise, don't even bother to build it hoping Customer Service will remedy any faults. They make great efforts in focusing on getting 5-stars. They should apply that effort to actions necessary to deserve it. ... show more

I ordered 2 of these and both arrived without any damage or missing/broken parts. They were easy to assemble and they look great with my 20 gallon fish tanks. Also bonus... I got them on sale. Very happy with this purchase!

First off it arrived damaged. The top is scratched pretty well and there's a small chip missing from one of the panels. Luckily the chip can be hidden. But the scratches can not and is the first thing you see not to mention the that portion of the top will not be water resistant . It took a while to assemble and was missing a screw and 1 of the cam locks broke at an 1/8 of a turn. Now the positive. It looks very nice ( except for the scratching on top) and it's very sturdy. If I wasn't in such a rush to get this set up I would contact the seller and request a new top. ... show more
