I dont understand the reviews saying this is hard to put together, or that you need 2 people. It took me start to finish about 45 minutes to put it together solo using the little tool that they give you. Dont over tighten the screws. With that said, this thing is 80 bucks, you get what you pay for, which is a good solid bed frame that will hold up a mattress and a normal size person. For you college kids that thinks this would be a good starter bed, now that you are away from home, you are correct. However, do not bring home any big girls or big dudes and try to stress test it. Like the look of the bed wished the headboard and footboard were real wood and one piece. Grandson put them on and used two screws too long and popped out the wood. The bed itself is very sturdy after everything is joined together, it looks nice.
