So I was in a pinch to order shorts for my upcoming road trip honeymoon, and I made the mistake of ordering 3 of these shorts in different colors. I'm 5'6", 122 lbs, waist 26", hips 34".. small fits comfortably. The shorts are definitely stretchy and in my honest opinion, overly-frayed.. look good from the back and the side. However, the front is just sub-par. It's almost as it the shorts were cut out from men's jeans.. too much extra fabric by the crotch. Therefore, when you take a step, they bunch up in a very unflattering way. It makes it look like I have external bits, if you know what I'm saying.! Seeing as they're still comfortable and don't look toooo hideous and I simply just don't have enough time to experiment with other jeans right now, I'll keep them. But I definitely won't purchase these again.. and in fact, it's scarring me from making future Amazon clothing purchases again. ... show more

The shorts are really cute and they are very stretchy. Based on some reviews that said up a size considering just about everything on amazon is smaller. Well I ordered a XL (normally I’m a L ) I’m about 170..larger booty and thick thighs and they were HUGE. Like I could have fit another person inside shorts with me. I would definitely order you’re normal size or even possible down a size. I’ve returned the shorts and ordered a L hoping they will fit. If not will return those as well and go with a M. So I got a big butt and thighs and an average waist and I struggle finding pants especially since I’m trying to dress a body that I’m still not used to. These shorts are amazing!!! I definitely recommend measuring yourself to get an accurate idea of your size especially if you’re like me who would shove themselves into the size I believed I was still at my in college and then complaining about them being too tight. These shorts are pretty short but they are so comfortable! They are stretchy material but don’t feel stretched out after you wear them. I’ve washed them once and they did not shrink. These fit great . VERY comfortable . I like the cut , sits at the hips . I bought a size up Xtra Large because I wanted them to fit a bit loose . I have an athletic bigger butt & thighs & I find hard to find shorts that work for my body , that are comfortable , cute , NOT frumpy because even though Im a mom , Im not ready for frumpness but yet covered up . No ass cheeks showing ... these have me very happy . I can go out & not be tugging at the crotch or being worried about them riding up & exposing me . I know the photos are crappy, but the shorts are great! Probably my favorite pair! They are stretchy but not so stretchy that they don’t even feel like denim (hate that). I’m a regular 6, rarely would size up but maybe would size down if something was described as running large. I purchased a Medium and they fit PERFECTLY. I’m 5’5”, 140 pounds and I carry my weight in my thighs. They’re a mid-rise, and perfect for a lot of things. Actually here to buy more! Love them. ... show more

In all I bought 4 pair not even 10 minutes after receiving my first pair. The first two pairs were the white and dark medium. They both fit as expected. For reference I bought medium normal size 8, 5'4, 138 pounds. The black and light blue were smaller than the previous 2 pairs. Beware the material % is not all the same nor is the sizing. I ordered medium and the last 2 pairs fit like a small. I posted a picture of 3 of the pairs, all mediums and you can see where they differ in the size. I was refunded for 2 of the smaller pairs. Would love to reorder but feel like the same outcome will happen again. One other thing I don't like is the shorts are on the shorter side and will ride up your butt.
