The ice maker, out of the box has worked for two days as described. It is very quiet during the ice making process with the cube dumps the most noticeable sound. I prefer the smaller cubes although the large size is not that much bigger. I was surprised to see that the ice maker is ETL Certified and that the small compressor is Underwriters Laboratories Recognized. Not many China products carry these ratings. The wattage use during running is just over 100 watts which bumps up to 160 watts during the ice release cycle which lasts for about 30 seconds then returns to the 100 watt constant wattage.. The only negative I can give is in regards to the handle not easily being inserted on one side of the case. This I will resolve with a minor adjustment. The ice capacity is too small for more than a couple of people, but this can be helped by filling zip Lock bags and kept in the freezer. Follow the instructions when first setting it up, and use only filtered water. Quality control looks to be adequate, but a bad unit may slip by due to handling and shipping hazards. ... show more

Works great. I have a hard time trying to turn it. I do transfer the cubes in to my freezer and they do clump together while in there. But I do like it.

The productivity of this ice maker is great, but because of this it quickly covers the full sensor and stops production, if you can remember to check it or empty the basket often it will provide you with plenty of ice. For the price it's a great ice maker. I have read past reviews about it being very noisy, I don't find it noisy at all. When it drops the ice in the basket there's a slight knock but it's great for remembering to check it, if you don't hear it for awhile chances are you are probably blocking the sensor and need to check on it. If it wasn't for this blockage issue I would have given it a 5 star rating ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this as an impulse buy one night. I have been buying bagged ice as I still am yet to own a fridge with an ice maker attached(rich people goals haha) and I am so glad I did. This baby started making ice in like 6 minutes. I have had it for over a month and it’s run constantly since. It’s small enough to not take up too much room on your counter. It isn’t super noisy. There’s def a motor sound and the clinking ice takes some time to adjust to in the middle of the night but it’s an ice maker… it makes ice. I use the small cube size. I don’t know how the large size looks. Has a little scoop. The light flashes when it’s low on water. I went and bought 5 big jugs at Aldi and I’m still using them weeks later so it doesn’t take a whole lot of water to run. We probably make 4 cups with ice a day. The media could not be loaded. I felt obligated to write this review fur this countertop ice maker as I have read negative reviews even before buying. First, it was only $49.99. My first one was over $100. This one is 10 tens better! It makes way bigger ice bullets than my expensive one and the ice stays so much longer in the bucket than the last. It makes ice much quicker than my last one and takes up just as much space on the counter. It has two exhaust fans on either side, and I'm wondering if this made a big difference in the performance. I'm very happy with my purchase and will recommend it to anyone looking for a great ice maker. ... show more

Would leave a 5 star review but it does not keep the ice cold, it just keeps recycling the water it melts and keeps making more ice. Other than that if you dont mind that feature the ice machine is great
