Needed a frame for kid's twin bed and he specifically requested a metal frame. Was able to assemble myself and didn't take very long at all. Metal is sturdy enough for comfort, but you can tell it's not a super strong steel or anything. Since we still have the box spring, all together (frame, box spring, mattress) the bed sits pretty high for my liking but kiddo loves it haha Putting the mattress alone on top of this frame would be ideal. I really like the height underneath as I can fit nice sized plastic bins full of toys and things to keep the room clean. ... show more

I bought this twin bed for my 4 year old who is transitioning from a toddler bed. So far so good. However, the metal slats are constantly falling out. Some fit tighter than others. Just putting the mattress on the frame caused 3/4 bars to fall out. Were fixing bars multiple times a week and can barely get them to fit because they aren't long enough. ... show more

The bed frame kit was missing the metal washers to assemble. Amazon product support page connected me to the company which rang once then immediately went to a voicemail box that was full and could not accept new messages. It then asked if I’d like to leave a SMS message which I assume sent my phone number but nothing else. I’ll be replacing the washers at my own expense. As to the rest of the frame, it’s flimsy, but you get what you pay for. I don’t imagine this will last more than a year at most. ... show more

    • Very easy to assemble
This bed was very easy to assemble and takes no linger than two or three mins if that of less time. I like the fact it's all metal even the slats I purchased this in hopes that it won't be easy for my kuds to break I spent money replacing beds due to them jumping on there beds and breaking them down. The slays are kind of thick they are actually thicker than the other beds they had they seem sturdy and strong enough to endure pressure and hold their weight the legs is long and think it was a good choice from what I could get for both my kids at an affordable cost to get them off the floor. So this thing is very simple to put together and seems pretty sturdy for the price point but I ran in a couple issues. The first being that it’s slightly larger than the online measurements. I measured the bottom portion of my kids loft bed and according to their measurements it should have fit perfectly, but it did not. I decided to shave off a 1/2 inch to help account and when I did I found where the two pieces come together at the middle the pieces were not cut straight which was causing the issues so I fixed that. The second small issue I had was that something was lodged in the support board holder that I had to pry out with pliers. Again a simple fix but was odd. ... show more
