Beautiful murphy bed! I want to leave a review to help others regarding the mattress. The listing clearly says you need a mattress that weighs AT LEAST 55 lbs. Do not ignore this! I bought a 10-inch thick hybrid memory foam mattress weighing 65 lbs, and it acts as the perfect counterweight. The bed stays completely flat on the floor with no issues of it popping back up. If yours is lifting, your mattress is too light. It’s an amazing, space-saving bed if you follow the directions.
