I purchased this mattress for my 13yr old daughter. I was debating between getting her an entire new larger bed or just purchase another mattress. It hasn't been too long since I bought her a new bed frame and bed set. The mattress she was using the Springs broke and cut her pretty well. Since I decided to just purchase another mattress I spent a little extra money then I normally would have. This mattress was still reasonably priced, but a little bit more than I had normally been buying for my younger children since they grow through them so fast. She described this mattress as the best sleep of her life, the most comfortable mattress she's ever slept on and it was like sleeping on a cloud! It's been about a month now and she still loves it. I wasn’t expecting it to be soft as a cloud like my last memory foam bed but I’m glad this is for my 12 year old son because it’s too firm for me. It is definitely better than the basic twin mattress he upgraded from though! Overall, it’s good for the price and it set up fast. I have thought about getting a 2” topper to make it softer. I replaced a traditional box spring/firm pillowtop mattress with this. I'm now getting the most comfortable sleep I've had in years. Even if I had to replace this once a year, I'd still be ahead financially and would still be very happy with my purchase. Mine puffed up to it's full thickness in about 5 hours and I would disregard the 'bedbug' remarks. It was clean and in a sealed bag on arrival. The minimal odor dissipated in an hour in my air conditioned room. I'm going to be replacing my 'way too big for the room' couch with a day bed soon and I'll be buying another one of these. ... show more
