  • Sturdy, Ample Storage, Small profile when broken down, well made for price
Style: 18 Inch Pattern Name: Non-Folable Size: Queen
First off it is sturdy and quiet if it is put together correctly. The tools provided are cheap but, the bed itself is well made and I have no issues with creaking or structural integrity. This is a well built product. Second I move a lot. I have a high demand job that takes me around the country. Thus, the pack up and go orders come every couple of months or years. This bed breaks down to a very small profile when it is disassembled making it easy for those of you who have to move a lot. It is also extremely easy to set up and put together. Just make sure you put the headboard attachments on the same side if you are planning on attaching a headboard because they can be installed mismatched without issue Third - 18 inches underneath a bed is a lot of storage. Part of the reason I bought this product was the hope of getting back some storage space and in that goal this thing is a work of art. I questioned how much space actually was underneath the bed and the answer is quite a bit. I can store a ton of stuff under it and that is a win for the guy who often rents cheap semi-temporary accomodations. What I dont rent in square feet this bad boy helps me reclaim some turf. I store a christmas tree, a ton of season items, seasonal clothing, suitcases, and other items that I use but not on a regular basis. The only fault I would have with this is that it is hard to find a bedskirt that extends to the floor as it is so high off of the floor. I solved this probelm by buying my own fabric and looking up some bedskirt plans online and just extending the dimensions. I am not a seamster so Its not exactly the pride and joy of my collection but nobody notices and it ends up looking just fine. I would imagine you could pay somebody who does sewing to make you a good looking one at a price comparable to buying one. Otherwise I strongly advise this product as it is ... show more

  • High Platform bed
Style: 18 Inch Pattern Name: Non-Folable Size: King
I love the platform beds for many reasons.... The #1 reason is no more box spring needed... They are easy to put together and are very sturdy... This one in particular offers great support! This was for our "guest" room, that we also use as our home office. The 18 in height is perfect, as we can easily store many totes by simply sliding them underneath and still have easy access when needed. Great value for the cost! Functions as expected. ... show more

  • Great frame base
Style: 18 Inch Pattern Name: Non-Folable Size: California King
I bought this after watching the video review I was sold got it home easy to set it up with help need a Xtra person to help being a cal king it was put together in about 15 min easily no problem the mattress I bought is extremely heavy and this base holds it fine no wobbling very strong does not have any weakness n legs supriseingly being so thin but it's definatky worth it my bind fit so nicely under bed and it really helps with storage and hiding it only downside I'd the inside rails are a bit to far apart for my mattress recommendation. So I had to put plyboard under mattress so it wouldn't sag thru the slats being so heavy but no squeeking slideing or noise at all stronger than any base I ever seen I love it my mattress is 12 in thick so total height in all I lay 30 inch up from floor I suggest if u tend to fall out of bed get side rails if u have small kids watch out they could get hurt if rhey fell off the bed its a bit far being so high off ground supervise small kids or older adults if fall risk I am so I'm searching side rails for it also now someone needs to make a bedskirt or some sort of item to hide the storage under bed no bedspread will hide the underbed items too short so someone make a longer hideing item for this height please ill be first to try it out somthing modern and easy to open or close the storage area hide unsightly storage items 12in +18in =30 Inch long bed spread would be awesome for my setup very happy over all o recommend defiantly great price as well ... show more

  • Yes, I attached a headboard & foot board, folks!
Style: 14 Inch Pattern Name: Non-Folable Size: King
I'm sooo glad I did a month of research before buying this. The breakdown: I have a vintage headboard and foot board that I refuse to part ways with, but once we moved into my current home two months ago, the master bedroom and closets proved to be small. We needed more space for storage (like under the bed). So I ditched my old school steel king bed frame, box springs, and bought a much needed, new 14" memory foam mattress with buying one of these in mind. The Problem: Some of these bed frames only have the slots for a headboard to be attached. Some have no option for a headboard at all. This model DOES have the slots BUT ONLY on one end for a "headboard". Boo hiss. So after having a few frames in my cart, the one I chose to buy suddenly went out of stock and this was next on the list (although it was $13 more expensive). I took a chance, knowing it only had the slots for a headboard attachment, BUT I had an idea, you see... My idea: Turn the dang thing around to attach the foot board instead of the headboard. Put the headboard up flush against the wall and viola! And guess what y'all, it works. I may find a few thick zip ties this week to secure the headboard legs to the bed frame (which no one will be able to see anyway), but so far, so good.It doesn't rattle behind me when I'm chilling in my bed. My husband suggested drilling holes of our own, but he's currently somewhere in America being an active duty soldier. I didn't feel like waiting. We'll "test" the rattle level when he comes home and go from there... The cons: I did have to measure the shortest part of my foot board design to make sure the frame wouldn't be visible above it before buying. It is by a half inch, but they all were, or higher. But it's not a big deal when the bed is made. The frame on the foot board end cannot be seen when a sheet/blanket rests over it. The first thing that drives me bonkers is that the middle support legs can be seen from the sides without a bed skirt, and I hate bed skirts (first world probs). But I'd rather have that support than none at all in the middle. Another thing that I have a feeling will be an issue later is the distance of the slats from each other where the mattress rests on top of. No sagging yet between them, but I do plan to monitor it. A final con is that I don't think this will last for years and years. It claims to be "steel", but is not at all heavy-duty like my old school bed frame. I'm sure that thing will still be around, somewhere, when the earth burns up and cockroaches are the only life form on the planet. The Pros: The package upon arrival was also not as big as I thought it would be. This was super easy to put together. I got my 14 year old son to help me drag the box off the porch and my 11 year old daughter helped me assemble it. It took us maybe 15 minutes. I do think the assembly can be done alone (my daughter out 9% effort into helping because her favorite YouTube idiot was making a new post, whatever that means). I am also happy with the altogether height; mattress and frame combined. My bed stands at 27" tall which is nice when you're not exactly a short girl at 5' 8". My final pro is that it does not squeak when I hop on and off the thing and has a sturdy feel to it. No wobbles, creaks, etc,. Some unsolicited advice: I did have to purchase the hook bracket adapter things separately for my foot board to hang on (Or a headboard, if you are going that route. I stupidly got rid of my old frame without taking the hooks off). I purchased them here on Amazon, but much to my dismay, the bolts that came with them are way to short to fit through the legs of this. Simple hardware store fix with a little measuring involved. I will say that the foot board with the hook brackets attached sits about an inch away from the frame (not flush, see 4th pic). It doesn't bother me, but may bother other folks. Also, I don't think it necessary to buy the additional modification plate for brackets, at least not for my foot board with the hardware I already purchased. Hook On Bed Frame Brackets Adapter for Headboard Extra HEAVY DUTY, Set of 2 Brackets with Hardware, 711 Bracket Two reasons I knocked off a star: I think this thing is overpriced when compared to traditional frames made with better, more heavy duty materials. Second, because what would it hurt the manufacturer to add another set of slots for both headboard AND foot board attachment? Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I now have more storage space under the bed and look forward to hoarding more junk in the future because of it. ... show more
