saved 300 lbs over the old 8 volt batteries. One battery was defective but after some trouble shooting from ogrphy they sent a return label and then sent a replacement. Only negative thing is very little communication from the company after I sent the battery back. Then a week later a new battery showed up. It would have been nice to hear that the defective battery was received and a new one was being shipped.As a side note you need a 12 volt charger and a 48 volt charge. Installed the battery, and initially had an issue with the Lester Summit 2 charger...it charged but didn't show full after a little while. I thought it was the charger, and ordered the charger that the manufacturer recommended. This charger did the same, so the Summit 2 was alright. Connected a Step down converter & 48v relay and had a voltage drop of almost 15 volts in a couple days. This turned out to be a mistake when I wired the relay. Once this was fixed, the battery has stayed at 100% for 3 days. I had also installed a plastic tray floor since it was open space where the old lead acid batteries were. Since the battery took less space, and the hold down wouldn't fit with this battery...A tie down is required to keep it from moving. My only issues with the battery is the terminals could be the same as ones on a lead acid... and there should be an on/off switch. ... show more

I purchased these batteries for our camper van where they are set up to be charged by our solar panels and where we use it to power our small refrigerator, overhead fan, and charger our devices. At one point in our journey this summer, we did not have sun for many days in a row. The batteries were drained. A voltmeter showed 9.6. With this draining of the battery, the battery management system kicks in and protects the battery. We could not reactivate or wake the battery with our solar setup (as it needed a certain amount of power to operate). We wrote to OGRPHY via amazon and they were quick to respond. They sent information about how to wake the battery. I turned to amazon to purchase a charger, sent the product information to OGRPHY to make sure I was purchasing a charger that would work to wake and charge these batteries. They promptly responded. I bought 3 12v 100ah batteries to use in my 36 v golf cart. I had a few issues with the batteries and getting them set up in my cart The customer service rep went above and beyond to make sure the batteries were set up correctly and working properly in my golf cart. I can not say enough good things about how they stood behind their products. I had to replace one battery, this company apon confirmation of the issue, immediately sent me a new battery. Well done . Used the 48v to replace my Trojan 8v x six lead-acid HEAVY batteries in my EZGO TXT 48. My golf car has new life! It fits perfectly and WOW I can feel the difference. I did have to cut some battery tabs in the battery compartment to aid in the proper fit, but it was not a big deal.
