  • Vacuums even the finest sediment.
The media could not be loaded. This pool vacuum works great. It works on propulsion to move around the pool. Meaning the wheels do not provide traction to move around the pool. This vacuum is also low to the ground so it might get stuck if your pool is not even. My pool settled and it left some minor high and low spots. I came up with a solution. See attached video. I used the retrieving ring at the end of the rope and inserted a piece of noodle in the ring. I had to cut the noddle multiple times in order to leep the vacuum at the bottom of the pool but just enough for it to be buoyant. The noodle provides enough buoyancy to skim at the bottom of the pool and it prevents from getting stuck. You can still attach another ring to retrieve the vacuum at the end of its cycle. Great suction, propulsion, filtering of water and battery. In the video you'll see the orange noodle about 5" Long. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Works great
Works great for heavier debris, not so much for fine debris like mud and iron sediment. Quick charge and runs for about two hours. Super easy to clean after use.

  • For the most part, I love it
The first four times I used it, I was ecstatic, scooted around for an hour and a half and cleaned the pool bottom beautifully. The next time I looked out to check on it and it was dead in the water. I started to pull it in and it started up again. Had to nudge it one more time, but it did clean the whole bottom. The same thing happened the next couple of times, but hasn't happened since (I've used it a couple dozen times). So not sure what that was about. For the most part I love it. I do treat it with kid gloves because I feel like it is very delicate. Be sure to read ALL the instructions before using it. Here are some highlights: it cannot be out of the water for more than 20 SECONDS in the On position - I start lowing it into the pool before turning the knob to On. I used permanent marker to make the On and Off easier to see - they are Not easy to see otherwise. It cannot be left in the sun. You have to charge it periodically when it is stored for the winter. It is quite heavy when being removed at the end of its cycle because it is filled with water (in addition to the 16 pounds it weighs). You cannot tip it to allow water to run out because everything it just sucked up will probably also run out - right back into the pool, so you have to bring it straight up. I have wedding cake steps in my above ground pool, so I am able to brace myself while lifting it onto the deck. Even my husband had a little trouble when he lifted it over the side wall instead of standing on the steps. It takes probably a good 3 hours or more to charge (don't know exactly, have not watched that close). You need to turn the filter off while it is vacuuming and not go in the pool while it's scooting around. I really HATE the way the top attaches to the bottom. It is very hard for me to get the two pieces apart (my husband does not have a problem, but his hands are much stronger). But basically it does a great job and I love it - altho I have nothing to compare it to because this is the first robot vacuum I've tried. I do know it does a better job than the automatic vacs I had to attach to the filter. I wish it had handles to make lifting it easier - the two spots on top you can place your hands are awkward when trying to lift it straight up while filled with water. Basically I'm very happy with it, but not sure if I'd get it again or try another brand. ... show more

  • It works and it easy to use
This is not expensive, and it works so well. It is easy to use and has a quick charge. I used it all summer in my 24ft round and it did a great job. This works and I would purchase it again.

  • Brand new and has never worked for more than 10 minutes at at time@#!!
This pool cleaner has stopped working after ~ 10 minutes each of the three times I've used it. It is definitely fulled charged, clean, and being used properly on a flat bottom pool. At first I thought it would just stall out and eventually restart, but no such luck. It just sits there, in the middle of the pool or at the wall. I've tried turning it off, then back on-same result, ~ 10 minutes of use. I also tried to tug it over to another area to see if it would restart. Nothing works. I've sent an email to the support page listed in the owner's manual and have received no response. Amazon won't allow me to return it either. I will update this review if I ever hear from Ofuzzi, but it at this point it looks like $300 wasted!! ... show more

  • Works well
The media could not be loaded. So for the price I paid, it works well. It has really helped to clean our pool. Every time we empty it is has been full of leaves and dirt that had settled on the bottom of the pool after the winter. The cons to this machine is 1) it almost always stops in the middle of the pool when finished rather than going to the edge of the pool like it’s supposed to do. 2) it will randomly stop moving even though it shows from the sides that it should be moving and so I will have to be gently push it with the handle to get it moving again. We bought this one because it’s what was in our price range at the moment and we needed a vacuum that would actually work to help us get our pool open, but I wouldn’t purchase it again. I’m planning on saving up my money and getting the high quality one that I really wanted but couldn’t afford. But like I said, it does clean well, it just doesn’t move the way it’s supposed to and it doesn’t park at the wall when finished. ... show more

  • Nice! Works great!
It works get but it stalls on the side. The ports will open and close but it won’t move until you manually push it. Do I need to adjust the degree it’s moving or is it faulty? Also, it does release some of the dirt back in the pool when you pick it up. Update: I took the suction covers off and it works like a charm! No more stalling on the sides. I do have wrinkles but I didn’t think they would cause any issues since they were small but they did. Very happy with this vacuum now that I got that figured out! I have the Bestway 18x48 soft side pool. ... show more

  • Faulty charger
This vacuum is great. The only flaw is that the charging cord is faulty and won’t connect to get a full charge. Otherwise it would be a great vacuum. I am not sure if you can order another power cord but if so I would give this five stars but since it takes me forever to get it to charge I need to give it a lower rating. ... show more
