The media could not be loaded. Stylish, easy to store and use. Instructions not intuitive. Good value. Punched through cardstock and plastic sheet cover. I used it to make 15 booklets, ~15 pages easy. I wouldn’t recommend more pages than that for the size of the rings used to bind the pages

I'm a homeschool mom so I'm constantly print curriculum. Everything was so unorganized till I got this. Being able to bind the curriculum by the week or month just makes it so much nicer to keep track for the school work. But don't try to punch more than 12 pages at once. Its quick and easy once you get the hang of it. I even reuse the bindings once he's done with the months work just unbind file the papers then use that binding to for the next month. ... show more

    • Works well for small bindings
I bought this for homeschooling - it was a good price and cute color so I went with it! I had a horrific time using it; teeth were just a little unparalleled to one another - I contacted customer service and they quickly responded and sent me a new machine. Made a small book effortlessly! So much easier, so I must have gotten a lemon the first time. I have only used it to make small books and I’m new to binding. I made a 75 page math booklet, and used the black binders that came with and it did take a little while bc you can only punch 10-15 pages at once. Bc I used the smaller binders it does come apart when my son is using bc he doesn’t just lay it flat / so you will have to get larger binders if making a book more than 30 pages. We will still use it for small projects they do but I can see how a machine that punches more at once would save a lot of time (especially with 4 kids and making them). But cute, works and we’ll get our use out of it! And great customer service! ... show more

Absolutely love it. My only regret is not buying it sooner. Only issue I had was when placing the handle on, I wasn’t able to align it correctly with the knob to keep it secure. Took several tries before getting it right. As a homeschool family, this will be used a lot. I no longer have to pay full price & shipping, buying pdf version of curriculum is my go too!     • Not bad for home/school use
It can punch paper and thin plastic. It cannot handle 8mil clear sheet cover plastic. I end up flipping the thing over to use side cutters to get the cover material out after it jams in the punch. I suggest using cardboard covers or perhaps looking at a spiral bind as it is extremely difficult to get binders to work that are not greatly oversized. ... show more

    • Manual lacks clear steps, instructions.
The instructions in my opinion lack clarity. For example there was no real instruction on what "position" to put the handle on. It took me a few minutes after realizing i had put the handle on incorrectly (position/angle). I have never used one of these, this was my first time. Also i knew it was wrong because it wasnt creating holes on the paper/cardboard. Took me a bit to realize that it was the handle/lever that needed adjusted. After fixing the handle/lever it was smooth sailing. I just adjusted a few things so that the holes aligned on the sheet. The "manual" lacked good explanation on how to place the combs and how to open them. Took me a few times of trial & error till i figure it out. ... show more
