I have the smaller one facing inside the crate for night time and the larger one outside and my two new pups run and crash into them and nary a drop is spilled! I love that nothing is touching the floor and water isn’t getting icky under the bowl because it’s trapped and can’t dry. Great product.

Our 2 y/o spayed female GSD loves chewing. She gets anxious. If we put any type of bowl in her crate or to feed her on the patio, she will try to destroy it. These are an experiment . We like that the bowls can be hung on the crate. She will turn her bowls over and have a blast making a mess and creating her space ... show more

It works great if you're trying to keep the bowl from being in the dog's laying space. However if you have a small/medium sized dog that has peculiar habits like mine she will eventually break the bowl in her quest to remove the food from the bowl while her sister is fine and has kept her intact.
