The last time I bought a mesh chair was some 6 or more years ago. Then they were new and cost $399 to get a good one. If you're like me you're afraid the mesh fails, right? Nope. It's the rubber on the wheels. There's like a ring of rubber on all desk chairs to make them slide smooth and it just started rolling off like banana skins. (I live in a hot dry climate and so I guess they eventually dry out and fail.) I looked all over Amazon and discovered this chair. I call this type of item a 'Chinese Generic'. The way you know it's one is that countless people are selling this exact same chair with various 'weird' brand names. Names that sound like they were made up in four seconds. This one is called KERDOM but it might as well be called MODREK or MEDKOR or whatever you can imagine. Don't let the generic thing scare you. It means it's a standard chair that's so GOOD that anyone can buy a few thousand of them and sell under their branding. The chair itself offers one basic sitting position. Armrests and the back of the chair simply do not adjust, but for me and my short legs it managed to be a perfect fit. Yes, the height adjusts and the seat swivels, but otherwise it's a basic chair with solid back support. The seat cushion is both comfortable and yet breathes a little. So it's not a mesh seat. But my last chair had a mesh seat and it wasn't comfortable after 20 minutes because it was so flat. This offers you a cushion but the material on it is mesh and so it breathes -- which matters to me in my warmer California climate. I'd say if you're going to spend over three hours a day in this seat you might want an additional cushion or consider buying a different chair. But if you're in and out of it a few times a day it's just perfect. Honest. My room needed a blue chair but I got an orange for the wifey. Assembly is easy enough and for older folks like me the light weight is a bonus. I don't love the chair but I really truly like it -- if that makes sense. Oh, the armrests are designed to easily lift up. This helped me because I needed the chair to push up closer to my desk. It looks a little goofy (like big white rabbit ears) but I don't really care. lol (If you look close at my blue chair pic, you'll the Chinese actress Xin Zhi Lei. Please don't think I'm the vendor posting my own pics. During Covid I was desperate for new enterainment, tried RUYI'S ROYAL LOVE IN THE PALACE right here on Amazon and have been obsessed with C-dramas ever since. Xin Zhi Lei is in it and as much of a WOW as series lead Zhou Xun. I put that image there in case some Chinese eyes are looking at this post.) ... show more

Words can’t describe how incredible this chair is! After years of sitting on a rock-hard leather chair, this chair was an absolute life-saver! I am starting my online schooling, and I needed a chair that I could sit on for 6+ hours a day. I am so happy that I chose to order this chair from this company! The seat is so comfy and huge! Definitely very roomy and spacious. Also, I loved the lumbar support this chair had. My back was well-supported and I had no back pain after sitting on this chair for hours. This chair is so aesthetic! I sought a chair specifically to go with my game room/office. My desk is in the closet, so I wanted a chair that would not look terribly out of place, if not pushed in. When pushed in, the doors slide closed and the chair is out of sight. Build-wise: I love that the arms are easily positioned and that they’re firm, when positioned within their range of motion. They don’t say with arm weight if needing them a sitting higher. That they flip up vertically 90 degrees, so that the chair can sit pretty flush is also a huge plus. The seat could be a bit more padded, but it’s neither here nor there. Fabric, I love the backing and it’s netted/wicked. It hasn’t stunk, or discolored after lunch workouts or outdoor walks on afternoon break (100+ degree heat out). Everything else, well, it’s like any other chair. Don't let the price fool you; this chair punches above its weight class. I've tried a litany of chairs looking for one that doesn't hurt my back, including Steelcase, Secret Labs, and countless Chinese "ergonomic" branded chairs. All of these only worsened my back pain, until this chair came along. I've been trying to recreate the experience I had in-office with the Herman-Miller chairs they provided without spending thousands of dollars on a chair, and I think I finally found it (at least for me) - and it's the cheapest chair I've tried yet! I cannot recommend at least trying this chair enough; if you don't like it, Amazon has an excellent return policy or if that fails, it's only $130. I can't speak for the long-term quality as I've only had mine for 2 months, but I liked it enough that I bought a second one for my gaming setup to accompany the one in my home office setup. ... show more

Pros: - true to color and picture - easy to assemble - packaged nicely (little to minimal scuff on some items though but not easily seen) - instructions and labeled correctly, manual was easy to follow - the seat is firm and will hold me for a while (small adult person) Cons: - the cushion kind of smells (sour?)... might wear off after a few days (hopefully) Probably will update more after testing it if I don't forget but overall the seat is good and feels sturdy, especially the base. But I'm not sure if I would pay $130 for this. ... show more
