Coming in almost a year after purchasing: this chair remains incredibly comfortable for me. I do not sit normally (how you’re supposed to I guess) and often sit on one leg or criss crossed. This chair allows me to sit however I want! I’m also on the heavier side (215-230lbs) and can tell you it has kept up, but the creaking started around 10ish months in. Mind you, I’m not gentle on this chair, and regular tightening does help a little. I don’t use the recline on it, but the lumbar support isn’t bad. Overall, I think it’s only sturdy for about a year. I’ll probably replace it soon, though I don’t think I NEED to replace it for at least another 6ish months. I’d probably be happier if my cats hadn’t torn the seat up, but that’s not the fault of the design or even quality of this chair. For the price, not horrible, but not exactly a great chair. Thankfully I have a standing desk so I don’t have to sit in it for prolonged time periods, but it’s not the most comfortable chair. It’s a nice color, came packaged very well, just wish it had a bit more padding.
