Positives: I’ve worked 40 hours a week in this chair for over 2.5 years. That’s at least 5,200 hours of sitting in it, plus any time I’ve been at my desk for personal computer work. It’s very comfy! It’s held up well and still going strong. Negatives: The arms got mildly wobbly fast, like within a few weeks. I was worried they’d eventually fall off with how fast they got wobbly, but they’re still attached all this time later (and still just mildly wobbly). Over the last few months, the chair won’t stay raised and goes down to the lowest position on its own within a minute of raising it. The seat has really started cracking over the last month or two so I covered it with a faux leather patch that I found for a few bucks on Amazon, and now it looks close to new again. I considered only giving it 4 stars because of these things, but decided to give it 5 because it held up perfectly while being used full time for over 2 years. I’ve never had a comfier office chair, so I’m not ready to replace it. When that time comes, I will buy this one again.

This chair is built like a TANK. I'm a big guy and the most common reason I have to replace a chair is because the side pieces get stripped or break. I usually buy chairs with the right weight rating so it's never the piston that gives but usually the castors or side screws. Well the base of this chair is SUPER sturdy. I included a picture of the base. It's all metal that is attached with bolts. There is no plastic!!! The castors are plastic but they feel "durable" so I'm not really that worried. Getting the castors into their slots was a bit of a pain but I just wiggled them back and forth a bit and they eventually went in. One kind of annoying part during assembly was the cloth on the back piece was put on without any holes where the back screws are supposed to go in, so I felt around with my finger and found the holes then used the Allen wrench to punch holes in the cloth so I could find the holes when assembling the back brace. If you're like me (with other chairs in the past) and looking for replacement bolt specifications and the instructions don't include them I'll take notes here: The screw package number was "OC-BT491/BM-BT502" (Not sure if that's useful but I'm writing it down :) ) "X8" M6 x 38mm x 4 pcs (bolts for piece attaching back to bottom pieces) "Z1" M6 x 12mm x 10 pcs (bolts for attaching wheel base pieces) "W7" M8 x 50mm x 4 pcs (bolts used to attach arm rests to top piece (these were the screws in other chairs I usually had to replace later) "W6" M8 x 38mm x 6 pcs (2 used for attaching front part of bottom lifting mechanism, 4 used for attaching plate to back piece) "G" 4 x Plastic Caps "O4" 4 x Washers They also included 1 extra of each bolt and a washer in the section called "Spare Parts". Overall I love this chair so far. After assembly there's not even the slightest bit of wiggle or creaking like other chairs ( hopefully that means it's less likely that the bolts will strip out like my last chair) and the seat is super comfy. The vibration is kind of cool but it's not game changing. It's nice, but it's not a large vibration. I'd compare it to those vibrating pillows you can buy in the airport for traveling. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase :) Oh! one more thing, when assembling the chair make sure to follow the instructions where it says to not fully tighten the side bolts until everything is in place, otherwise it'll look like the sides don't align, when in fact they do, you just got to make sure to only minimally attach everything first then do the final tightening :) I wish Amazon did that "remind me in x months for a follow-up review" lol. I'm so far VERY satisfied with this chair :)

PLEASE NOTE: I have had a multitude of issues and updates after receiving this product. I have updates below beneath the original review, and it is a doozie. ORIGINAL REVIEW: PROS+ -Feels very sturdy. I'm almost 300 pounds (working on losing weight) and I feel perfectly fine in it. I don't doubt it could support 500 pounds as claimed. -Reasonably comfortable. It's a little on the stiff side, but I'm ok with that. CONS- -Massage function doesn't work. At all. And I honestly don't feel like sending it back to get a replacement for what is probably just a glorified vibration. -It was a nightmare to put together. The instructions are full of busy, unclear pictures and what few sentences there are, are written in good old "Engrish." -The parts don't fit together well at all. Wheels were difficult to shove on, the holes on the arms and body didn't line up so you had to aggressively bend the chair to get screws to fit in, etc. Very poorly designed from an assembly standpoint. OVERALL: I wouldn't really recommend this. It'll do its job, but the fact that is atrocious to put together, along with the fact that the massage feature didn't work kinda ruined it for me. I'd look elsewhere. 2 out of 5. MARCH 2022 UPDATE: The chair is starting to feel increasingly unstable every week. I've never bought a desk chair that went this downhill this quickly. This is absolutely ludicrous for a chair in this price-range. I've usually gotten at least a few years out of all my previous desk chairs... I don't know if this one will last another month! Lowering my score to a 1 out of 5. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP! AUGUST 2022 UPDATE: Well, it's managed to last a little longer... but it's still getting worse and worse and worse. Now one of the arms had completely bent from me just lightly pushing it whenever I stand up. I've never had that happen with a desk chair before. One day I just sort-of realize that it had gradually bent out a good 30-35 degrees. Even more concerning, I was able to bend it back with little-to-no effort. So I'm assuming that the arm and the holes it's attached to are wearing out. So for all I know it'll just fall off any day now. Again... I've had this chair for a matter of months. SEPTEMBER 2022 UPDATE: The top attachment of the left arm BROKE OFF! It's now hanging LOOSE FROM THE SIDE! I have had this chair for NINE MONTHS and it's already falling to pieces! I have NEVER, EVER had a chair fall apart this badly, this quickly. OCTOBER 2022 UPDATE (PART ONE): I was upset given how much I spent on this, and checked the website to see if there was someone I could contact. I don't care if it's been nine months... there's no excuse for a chair breaking down this quick... especially given the high price point and the number of reviews from other people who have had the EXACT same issues. They claim on their website that they will respond to support e-mails within 24 hours. Guess what? We're closing in on five days with no response. So on top of awful chairs that break in less than a year, I guess the company also just has really awful, incompetent customer service that can't even fulfill their minimal claims about return e-mails. Unbelievable. OCTOBER 2022 UPDATE (PART TWO): It's been nearly 20 days since I contacted their customer service, and I've gotten no response. Again... it said they respond within 24 hours. NOVEMBER 2022 UPDATE (PART ONE): We are closing in on 40 days since I contacted customer service the first time, and I've gotten no response. I will stress yet again that they claim they respond within 24 hours. I also contacted them a second time just in case about two weeks ago... and that go no response either. Additionally, the ENTIRE LEFT ARM has now broken off of the chair. I will not be getting rid of this thing until I get some sort of response from the company. NOVEMBER 2022 UPDATE (PART TWO): In a few days, it will have been two full months since I contacted the company for the first time and got no reply. I contacted them a second time and got no reply. And just to give them the benefit of the doubt, I even contacted them a third time after my last update... and I got no reply. Where is my reply, BestOffice? Your website promises a response within 24 hours... but it's been nearly 60 days! NOVEMBER 2022 UPDATE (PART THREE): I finally heard back after contacting them on Amazon! Granted, it was a generic "No refunds! Hmph!" response, which I'm not happy about, since it took NEARLY 60 DAYS to get a response, and it wasn't even a response to my email. Regardless, my 1 out of 5 score stands. AVOID BESTOFFICE! NOVEMBER 2022 UPDATE (PART FOUR): They are now telling me that their website, which they have LINKED TO THEIR PROFILE UNDER THE SUPPORT SECTION, is not a real website. WHAT?! NOVEMBER 2022 UPDATE (PART FIVE): Our conversation has just gone in circles. They alternate between asking what I can do, I respond by asking them a question, and they respond by repeating over and over that I won't get a refund... which I'm not asking for. I'm asking them questions about their business practices, which are very sketchy. I'm going to report them to Amazon. This is ridiculous.

This is a nice chair 4 stars because a wheel socket broke. I would buy this one again. I'm sure this was a manufacturing defect. I used to be a welder and I know a bad weld when I see one! :-) This is very comfortable and adjusts well for me 6'4" 300 Lbs.
