These casters were a good replacement for the originals. The wheel material isn't soft exactly, but it is soft enough that it will give instead of the wood floor giving, like with the original hard plastic. They also fit into the old holes perfectly. Obviously, that will depend on the size you need, but there doesn't seem to be any slop, so the tolerances from nominal dimensions seem good. As long as this is the size you need, I'd say buy without fear.

Bought these to replace the plastic wheels that came with my office chairs. Made a world of difference. I can now actually roll around without standing up. The wheels allow me to move around my office that is carpeted without issues. My other office chair is on wood flooring and they do not make or cause issues with wearing a spot out on the wood (I have real wood floor and was worried it would mark up the floor).

So glad I bought these wheels instead of a new chair...I put these wheels on an old computer chair I use in my work shed...it has a very rough gravely badly poured concrete floor that tore up the plastic wheels you see on most computer chairs...these new larger wheels roll across the floor effortlessly...almost like the floor is perfectly flat...I'd even go as far as to say the chair now rolls too easily...of I get up and barely push the chair it rolls across the entire shed...absolutely awesome wheels...get them...theybinstall in seconds with no tools...great purchase

We had replaced the original casters on our chair with some that had a soft rubber "tire" part to avoid damaging our flooring. The soft rubber part wore down and broke apart, so we replaced those with these. The rollerblade-style wheel is great and seems super durable. Installation was as simple as it could be, and the chair rolls even easier than before. I feel like these could even be suitable for moving on carpet as well.

Super happy with the quality of these wheels. They glide really smoothly, and they have a nice weight to them. I can tell they are gonna last/feel sturdy over time. Would definitely recommend, purchased them for my in salon stool to keep hair out and so far so good! Would repurchase.
