Been working on cars for 40 plus years. This is the tool I’ve been missing! Bleeds your cooling system the first time without one drop on the floor. Finding the adapter for your radiator might be a little confusing but it’s worth the time finding the correct one. Looks like it covers most radiators. The only thing add was a plastic storage case instead of a cardboard box. Watching the translucent funnel you can also see any present internal engine problems by watching for pressure bubbles. ... show more

I used this after changing the radiator on a car, which made properly "burping" the radiator a much easier process. The first step is to find which of the adapters fits your car. This actually caused me a bit of issues as one of them was close, but when I started to fill up the radiator I started getting some spillage issues from where the adapter fits into the radiator intake. The fix was to take a second black o ring from one other the other adapters and add it to the adapter. After that, I was able to get a proper seal, which is critical as you need to fill the funnel about 1/3 over the radiator being full. Once I sorted that out, it takes a good 30 minutes to get all the air out of the system. Mine made a bit of a mess when the heater core opened up, I got boiling to the point where it overflowed the funnel. Once I replaced that fluid things stabilized. ... show more

My bleeder screw is seized, and I wouldn't have been able to change out the t-stat and upper coolant hose on an old Chrysler 300c 5.7L Hemi. (another option is the coolant temp sensor vs bleeder screw) I didn't use either. It takes a few engine cycles to get out all the air bubbles. Only try and keep it a third full, it will expand and come close to overflowing during use. You know you are finished when it sucks it all back in at the end. Great product.
