    • Good quality and great for semi-trucks.
Used both of these at work and they work as intended. I use the large one to take off and put on oil filters from semi-truck engines (mostly Cummins) and the smaller one to take off oil filters from reefers (reefer oil filters can be tightened by hand). I drive a 2013 Honda Civic and can also take off the oil filter from my personal car with the smaller oil filter remover. Great bargain and very durable/versatile. Would recommend! ... show more

    • Easily removed oil filter - no more slipping
It worked as advertised. I previously had a hard time with the 13ish sided cap wrench adapter slipping off the filter when trying to looses (or tighten). If you jam the cap on too hard it would get stuck. It had similar issues putting the new cap in place given the present of oil on most tools involved. Well this tool took all the hassle out of removing the old filter. My filter took the smaller version which doesn't have textured prongs, but the arms still dug in with sufficient bite to easily remove the old filter. I still used the old (clean/dry) adapter to tighten the new filter into place because I wasn't certain how much the small adapter might bite into the filter and was being overly cautious. It is a little weird trying to hold the arms in place while you reset your ratchet, but it wasn't that difficult. I can't speak much to durability yet as I only used it once and it'll take a few years before it has been used enough to have a good idea of its endurance. ... show more
