These are a great size and design. Make sure to measure your filters first before ordering. I have a few filters that are still to small for the smaller one. Seem pretty durable. The fact they can be used on many different sized filters is nice. I really like them for changing the oil on Cummins motors because the filter sits so high up it’s hard to get to it with a traditional wrench. I just pop this on an extension and loosen them up. It also seems to do a good job removing filters when people over torque them on install. Much better than a strap wrench or traditional oil wrench. ... show more

    • Worked great, just what I needed.
I needed this for an oil change. I have a vehicle where I need something went over the filter. I do not have enough space for something that wraps around the filter due to space and angle issues. I bought this over several other similar style units because it had 2 options. One has rubber boots and round the other is all metal and the other has flat spots which I thought would dig in to the filter if the rubber footed one didn’t. The rubber footed one worked like a charm. I didn’t get to use the other filter. I do wish it had some spring loaded part of it to help grab the filter. ... show more
