I do a lot of work on large diesel trucks and equipment, and this is my preferred filter wrench. It makes for a much less messy removal process than pliers or screwdrivers and hammers, and is strong enough to use with long wrenches -sometimes I have to use a breaker bar to remove badly stuck filters, and this strap wrench handles it! First time using the product was to break loose a hydraulic filter housing on a loader. This strap wrench was put under some extreme tension before popping a couple stitches. The canister will need to be replaced, but we were able to remove it. The loader operates in extremely corrosive conditions. The strap did not break, but gear wrench sent a replacement immediately after notifying them about the stitching that popped. Would recommend for industrial heavy duty use. ... show more
